Explore how the mind works on this Psychology Summer Career Camp in the heart of London for students aged 15 to 18. You learn from practising professionals, visit mental health and research settings, and build practical skills in observation, research and real-world case analysis.
Interactive sessions cover areas such as clinical psychology, neuroplasticity, social psychology and drama therapy, showing how psychologists design studies, interpret findings and use evidence to support individuals and communities. By the end you have a clear picture of what studying psychology at degree level involves and where it can lead, from clinical psychology and counselling to cognitive science and research.
No previous experience is needed. The programme suits curious beginners as well as students already studying related subjects at school.
The camp takes place in central London, with sessions and visits across the city. Residential students stay at Ramsay Hall, part of the University College London (UCL) campus, and experience life as a university student in one of the world's great capitals.
