Senior Teens (Ages 16–18) 🌊🇫🇷
This senior-teen programme in Biarritz combines focused French language learning with daily surfing on the Basque Coast, offering motivated students an active, real-world immersion experience. Designed for older teens who want independence and measurable progress, the programme pairs morning French classes with five surf sessions per week, all within walking distance of the Atlantic coastline.
Students build strong communication skills in French while enjoying one of Europe’s most iconic surf destinations.

Surfing is the only included activity outside of French classes and is fully integrated into the weekly schedule.
Surf Details
Frequency: 5 sessions per week
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes per session
Beaches: Côte des Basques (≈15-minute walk from the school) and Anglet
Logistics & Supervision
Day 1: Instructor collects students from the school and escorts them to the beach
Following days: Students travel independently to the surf spot
If surf conditions require a different beach, transport is provided

Alongside French lessons and surf sessions, students have the opportunity to explore Biarritz and the surrounding Basque Coast through informal, guided discovery experiences.
These guided walks and local orientations help students:
Get familiar with Biarritz’s neighbourhoods, beaches, and town centre
Discover key local landmarks, viewpoints, and cultural spots
Learn how to navigate the city confidently and safely
Gain insight into Basque culture and coastal life
These experiences are designed to support independence and cultural awareness, helping students feel comfortable living and studying in Biarritz while practising French in real-life settings. 🌊🇫🇷

Students and families are responsible for:
Arranging their own arrival and departure travel
Making their own transfers between the airport and Biarritz
