Build advanced communication skills in French and surf the Basque Coast. This senior-teen track pairs morning French classes (20 lessons/week) with five afternoon surf sessions/week (1h30 each), plus structured assessment and a clear certificate at the end.
Ages: 16–18 (senior teens)
Location (school): 6 Av. Jaulerry, 64200 Biarritz
French classes: 20 lessons/week, Mon–Fri mornings
Surf: 5 sessions/week, 1h30 each (times vary with tides)
Class size: Max 12 (international groups)
Teachers: Experienced, FLE-qualified (French as a Foreign Language)
Certificate: End-of-session certificate with hours attended & level reached
Placement & grouping: Online placement test before arrival + oral interview on Day 1 to confirm level and objectives
Method: Classes exclusively in French; conversation-first, practical tasks, and targeted support
Levels & goals: You’re placed in a class suited to your level and objectives to maximise speaking time
Assessment: Every Friday, your teacher checks progress to ensure you’re keeping pace with the group
Exam option: Many partner schools act as exam centres; you can request an official French exam during your stay
Personalised support: Guidance to align learning with your personal/academic goals
Where: Côte des Basques (≈15 min walk from school) and Anglet beaches
Logistics: On Day 1, an instructor picks you up at school and escorts you to the beach; on later days, you go independently
