Course Description: Beginners Standard French Immersion program in Paris, France

This communication-first French course is open to students of all levels, from complete beginners (A0) to advanced learners (C1). The programme focuses on practical, usable French, helping students gain confidence and fluency through structured lessons and daily exposure to the language in real contexts.

Students take 20 lessons per week, each lasting 45 minutes, from Monday to Friday. Classes are scheduled either in the morning or afternoon, leaving plenty of free time to explore Paris and practise French beyond the classroom.

This programme is designed for independent students who want strong French progress while fully experiencing daily life in Paris.

🌅 Morning in Paris (Independent Start)

Students begin the day independently, enjoying breakfast at their accommodation or at nearby cafés and bakeries. 🥐☕

Those with morning classes head to school, while others enjoy a relaxed start before afternoon lessons.

📚 French Lessons (Morning or Afternoon)

Option 1: Morning Classes

🕘 Approx. 09:00–12:15

  • Interactive French lessons focused on speaking

  • Grammar and vocabulary taught through real-life use

  • Pair work, group discussion, and role-play

  • Lessons taught entirely in French to build confidence

Option 2: Afternoon Classes

🕒 Approx. 14:00–17:15

  • Identical lesson structure and content

  • Ideal for students who prefer mornings free for exploration

All students complete 20 lessons per week, Monday to Friday.

🍽️ Lunch Break (Independent)

Lunch is taken independently, allowing students to:

  • Eat in cafés and bistros

  • Grab takeaway or picnic in nearby squares

🗓️ Day 1: Arrival & Guided Paris Orientation 🗺️

On Day 1 only, students take part in a guided orientation walk around the local area.

This welcome tour helps students:

  • Get familiar with the 8th arrondissement

  • Learn key routes, transport links, and landmarks

  • Understand how to navigate Paris safely and confidently

  • Feel settled before beginning independent routines

This is a short, local orientation, not a full-day excursion, and is designed to support independence from Day 2 onward.

Outside lesson hours, students are free to explore Paris independently:

  • Walking through nearby districts such as Opéra and Saint-Lazare

  • Visiting museums, galleries, or exhibitions

  • Studying or reviewing notes in cafés or libraries

  • Socialising with classmates in the city

Students manage their own schedules, transport, and meals.

🌙 Evenings in the City

Evenings are fully independent:

  • Dinner at local restaurants or accommodation 🍝

  • Evening walks through Paris neighbourhoods

  • Light study or preparation for the next day

There is no curfew or organised evening programme, reflecting the independent nature of this course.
