Course Description: Sea & Island Adventure Camp Corsica Island Sailing Expedition

Set sail on a once-in-a-lifetime, two-week journey with the Sea & Island Adventure, where students explore the breathtaking island of Corsica by sea and land alongside a crew of like-minded young adventurers aboard 45-foot modern catamarans.

No sailing experience is required. Expert captains and crew lead the way while students actively take part, building real confidence as they learn the basics of how a vessel is piloted and maintained.

Each day brings a dynamic mix of mountain, shore and sea activities. The catamaran acts as a unique “hop-on, hop-off” base, carrying the group from one stunning destination to the next for team challenges and outdoor adventures. More than just transport, it becomes a warm, safe home on the water — creating a close-knit, family-like atmosphere where friendships form quickly and memories last a lifetime.

✈️ Travel, Logistics & Practical Information

***

*️

Should my child arrive on the first day of the camp session or the day before?

Students should arrive on the communicated official first day of the camp.

Early arrivals (i.e., one day prior) are only allowed in prior consultation with the camp management. Please note that there will generally be extra charges for early arrival.

***

What are the ideal times to arrive at camp?

We recommend arrivals and departures be organised between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

This ensures that your child arrives when most camp participants are present and can fully benefit from the start of the camp experience.

Arriving outside this time frame may be subject to additional transportation fees.

***

*

What if my child is travelling alone?

If your child is travelling alone and is below 15 or 16 years old (depending on the airline), they may travel using the airline’s Unaccompanied Minor Service (UM Service).

Airlines usually require additional information from our end.

If you are interested in this service, please inform us and your personal concierge will assist you directly.

Generally, students above 15 or 16 can travel independently without a UM Service.

***

*

Which airport should my child arrive at?

For the Sea & Island Adventure in Corsica, France, the arrival airport is:

Figari-Sud Corse Airport

***

Yes. Our team would be happy to provide a Visa Support Letter.

Please note that this letter can only be issued once the full camp fee has been settled.

Your personal concierge will guide you through the process.

***

*

Do you provide a packing list before camp?

Yes. All families receive a dedicated Welcome Pack, which includes a detailed packing list outlining all required items students should bring to camp.

***

*

Are students divided into groups for activities?

Many activities are enjoyed together as one camp community.

In some instances, students may be divided into smaller, age-appropriate groups for specific activities.

Overall, we ensure that students experience this unique adventure together while maintaining safety and appropriate group structures.

***

*️

Can my child and their friends share a room?

Yes, absolutely. Your child and their friends can share a room together.

Room arrangements are organised based on gender and age group. Students of the same gender may share a room.

While we understand that friends or siblings may wish to room together, for a richer international experience, we strongly encourage students to share with new friends from different parts of the world.

We always ensure students are placed with someone in their same age group.

***

*

How much pocket money should my child bring?

We recommend approximately €100 or CHF 100 per week.

This is mainly for personal purchases during excursions outside the campus.

***

Details of risk assessments can be shared with parents upon request.

***

*

Will parents be able to follow the camp experience day-by-day?

Yes. Prior to camp, parents receive a secure link and password to a private blog that is updated daily with stories and photos from camp life.

This allows families to virtually experience the adventure alongside their child.

***
