Set in the spectacular Swiss Alps, the Club Mountain Bike & Adventure Summer Camp is an immersive outdoor experience where adventure, personal growth, and community come together.
Based in the authentic alpine village of Les Diablerets, this camp is designed for young people who love being active, exploring nature, and challenging themselves — while building confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships in a safe, supportive, and screen-free environment.
This is not a traditional sports camp. It’s a holistic adventure programme combining daily mountain biking, adrenaline activities, teamwork, and life skills — with progression adapted to each participant’s level.
***
Campers live fully offline during their stay — no phones, no Wi-Fi, no screens.
This intentional digital detox allows young people to truly reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. Without constant notifications, campers naturally develop:
Independence through real-world decision-making
Confidence by overcoming physical and mental challenges
Presence by fully engaging in each moment
Authentic friendships built through shared experiences
This offline environment is one of the most powerful foundations for personal growth and resilience.
***
Each day is carefully structured to balance activity, choice, teamwork, and rest, while remaining flexible to weather and group energy.
Every morning, participants choose their activity group. Options include:
Mountain biking / cycling
Rock climbing (indoor or outdoor)
Football training
Survival and outdoor skills
This choice-based approach encourages motivation, autonomy, and enjoyment.
Mountain Bike Programme Highlights:
Daily rides on alpine trails adapted to all skill levels
Routes through forests, ridgelines, and technical terrain
Progressive development of riding technique, endurance, and trail confidence
Strong focus on safety, bike handling, and environmental awareness
***
In the afternoons, all campers come together for a shared adventure programme. Each day typically offers 3–4 activity options, and participants choose what suits them best.
Activities may include:
Kayaking or rafting
Boat building
Hiking and ridge walks
Camping and survival skills
Cultural visits to nearby Swiss villages
Creative workshops and DIY projects
Orienteering and navigation challenges
These sessions promote exploration, teamwork, and variety throughout the week.
***
Each evening, campers take part in a mandatory one-hour Team Challenge.
Participants are divided into colour-coded teams and compete in fun physical, creative, and problem-solving challenges designed to:
Build cooperation and leadership
Encourage healthy competition
Develop communication and strategic thinking
Create strong group identity and shared memories
Teams earn points throughout the week, reinforcing motivation and community spirit.
***
Every week includes unforgettable standout experiences, such as:
A full-day mountain bike ride over a mountain pass
A sunset bike ride with panoramic alpine views
An overnight bike-packing experience, camping under the stars
Excursions to traditional Swiss villages and scenic ridgelines
These moments often become the most memorable parts of the camp.
***
All activities follow a “challenge by choice” approach.
Campers are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones — but are never forced into something they feel genuinely uncomfortable with.
Activities are adapted to group ability
Progress is measured by personal growth, not competition
Instructors support, motivate, and respect boundaries
The goal is confidence, achievement, and enjoyment
Every camper leaves feeling proud of what they’ve accomplished.
***
A basic level of fitness is recommended, but no specialist training is required. Light weekly activity before camp — such as cycling, walking, swimming, or team sports — is more than sufficient.
This camp is about exploration and fun, not racing or performance.
***
Most campers arrive with little or no outdoor experience — and that’s perfectly normal.
Our instructors:
Teach all skills step by step
Support beginners closely
Challenge experienced riders to progress further
Build confidence quickly through practice and encouragement
By the end of the camp, participants confidently manage equipment, navigate outdoors, and take responsibility for themselves and the group.
***
Campers come from across Switzerland and around the world. Groups are known for being:
Friendly and welcoming
Curious and supportive
Inclusive and respectful
Most campers arrive not knowing anyone — and leave with strong friendships that often last well beyond the summer.
***
The camp runs in a fully bilingual English–French environment. No prior knowledge of both languages is required.
Participants naturally improve language confidence through immersion. Optional language workshops are also available:
Small groups
Approx. 2 hours per day
Interactive, game-based, and confidence-focused
