Somewhere between SCUBA diving in Naxos, kayaking along Santorini’s volcanic beaches and exploring the ancient history of Athens, you’ll fall completely in love with Greece. This small-group island adventure balances iconic sights with unforgettable water activities, sunsets and café discoveries. Teens travel in co-ed, age-compatible groups, creating an inclusive, family-style atmosphere throughout the journey. Some departures also align with the final section of a longer Greece & Italy journey.

Itinerary 🗺️

Day 1 – Flight to Athens

Overnight flight to Athens followed by orientation and icebreaker activities.

Day 2 – Athens

Explore the Acropolis, Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum and wander the Plaka district.

Days 3–5 – Naxos

Ferry to Naxos • beach time • medieval Old Town • Venetian Castle views • SCUBA lessons • snorkelling • cooking class in the village of Galini.

(Participants with certain medical conditions may be restricted from SCUBA.)

Days 6–8 – Santorini

Iconic white houses of Fira • sunset views • cable car ride • volcano hike at Nea Kameni • swim in hot springs • dinner in Oia • sea-kayaking along red, white and black beaches • snorkeling in the Aegean.

Day 9 – Athens

Return to Athens • explore the Plaka • sunset farewell banquet.

Day 10 – Return Flight Home

Goodbyes and flight home.

Central hotels such as Acropolis Select, Hermes, Plaka Hotel, Athenian Callirhoe, Arion or Central Hotel. Located in elegant, artistic neighborhoods.

Naxos

Naxos Resort, close to the beach and the town center, blending traditional Naxian architecture with modern comfort.

Santorini

Resort-style stays at Rosebay Hotel, Kamari Beach or El Greco Hotel, offering simplicity, beauty and easy access to island highlights.

Meals & New Cuisines

Breakfasts in Europe are eaten at our hotels and served buffet style with a variety of options. For dinners, either the whole group goes to the same restaurant or we divide into smaller groups of your choosing. For lunch, you will enjoy eating in smaller groups and choosing from local cafés, bistros and other restaurants. Are you ready for Greek frozen yogurt and delectable feta and gyros? The food in Europe is terrific, so get set to eat extremely well!

We have satisfied the choosiest of eaters and gladly accommodate most special dietary requests including vegetarian, food allergies, lactose intolerance, celiac disease, and kosher style. We welcome discussing your individual requirements with you and have extensive experience in this area.

Laundry 👕

Only one week of clothing is required, as listed in the packing guide sent before departure. Laundry is done either by dropping items at a local wash-and-fold service to be picked up clean and folded, or by visiting laundromats together. Detergent is provided for laundromat days, along with a simple step-by-step introduction for first-timers.
