From hiking glaciers and exploring ancient ruins to sailing through sparkling blue waters, every day is an epic adventure. Imagine rafting through Iceland’s picturesque landscapes, chasing waterfalls, and relaxing in the famous Blue Lagoon. In Norway, unwind in a floating sauna overlooking the waterfront and enjoy an overnight cruise from Oslo to Copenhagen, taking in stunning Scandinavian scenery along the way. In Denmark, explore charming streets and historic neighborhoods on a city biking tour. Then, travel to Stockholm, Sweden, where you’ll visit the Avicii Experience and discover what it takes to become a world-famous DJ. Finally, continue to Greece, where you’ll sail through the Greek islands, sea kayak along Santorini’s dramatic coastline, and relax on the beautiful beaches of Santorini and Paros. Along the way, our amazing staff will create a close, inclusive, family-like group where lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories are made!

Please note that a limited number of participants depart on day 15 while the 25-day participants continue on to Greece.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Flight To Reykjavík, Iceland

Your adventure begins with an overnight flight to Reykjavík, Iceland. Once you land, your orientation will officially begin with some of our favorite icebreakers and “get to know you” activities.

Days 2–5 — Reykjavík & The Golden Circle, Iceland

Welcome to Reykjavík, the world’s northernmost capital. Start by exploring the colorful Rainbow Road, then take flight with the immersive FlyOver Iceland experience, soaring above the country’s incredible landscapes. Next, set out on the legendary Golden Circle, where you’ll witness powerful waterfalls and the famous Geysir Hot Springs. Then, get your adrenaline pumping with whitewater rafting on the Hvítá River, surrounded by Iceland’s breathtaking scenery. Head out on the water for an exciting whale-watching adventure, keeping your eyes peeled for whales and other marine life. After days packed with exploration and adventure, slow things down and unwind at the famous Blue Lagoon, soaking in its warm, mineral-rich geothermal waters—the perfect way to end your Iceland experience! South Coast How many rainbows will you spot at Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss? Walk along the dramatic Reynisfjara black sand beach, keep an eye out for puffins, and gear up with crampons and an ice axe for an unforgettable mountaineering experience on Sólheimajökull Glacier.

Days 6–8 — Oslo, Norway

Your next stop is Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital! Start by exploring the city’s iconic landmarks, from Oslo City Hall to the modern Opera House and waterfront. Strike your best pose and recreate one of the famous sculptures at Vigeland Sculpture Park. Then, take on the challenge of an exciting ropes course, climbing, balancing, and soaring through the treetops. Next, enjoy your very own floating sauna, complete with breathtaking views of Oslo’s waterfront and the chance to take a refreshing cold plunge. Finally, turn up the adventure on a high-speed RIB boat ride, racing through Oslo’s waterways, bouncing over the waves, and taking in incredible views of the city from the water!

Day 9 — Cruise to Copenhagen, Denmark

Board an overnight ferry for a scenic journey from Oslo to Copenhagen! Take in stunning coastal and fjord views along the way, then enjoy an evening of entertainment onboard. After a night at sea, wake up refreshed in a brand-new country and ready to kick off the next leg of your Scandinavian adventure!

Days 10–12 — Copenhagen, Denmark

Arrive in the lively city of Copenhagen, where culture, adventure, and iconic sights are around every corner! Start with a canal cruise through the city, taking in colorful homes, innovative architecture, historic landmarks, and the vibrant Nyhavn district from the water. Now that you’ve seen Copenhagen by boat, explore the city like a local on a bike tour, cruising through its charming streets and neighborhoods. Enjoy a magical evening at Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, with thrilling rides, games, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Venture outside the city on a day trip to Møns Klint, where you’ll hike dramatic coastal cliffs and search for fossils. Back in Copenhagen, explore Reffen, a vibrant waterfront food market filled with endless food stalls and international flavors—a perfect place to hang out, grab a bite, and reflect on the new memories you've made.

Days 13–15 — Stockholm, Sweden

Wander through Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s beautifully preserved Old Town, with its colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and hidden alleyways. Discover the story and music of one of the world’s most iconic DJs at the Avicii Experience, including a behind-the-scenes look at his creative journey. Explore Stockholm’s flavors on a guided food walking tour, sampling local favorites while discovering the city one bite at a time. Finish by exploring Södermalm, one of Stockholm’s trendiest neighborhoods, known for its creative atmosphere, unique shops, cafés, and incredible city views.

Days 16–17 — Athens, Greece

Fly to the heart and soul of Greece and its capital city of Athens. Marvel at the astounding architectural feat of the Parthenon and Acropolis. Swim the turquoise waters during a private sailing charter. See Aphrodite amongst her friends in the Acropolis Museum just down the hill from where she used to live. Wander through the charming streets of the Plaka district, where you can enjoy the traditional Greek food and shop for souvenirs. With each corner of the city rich in history, Athens offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion and modern adventure before you head to the islands.

Days 18–20 — Paros, Greece

Paros, considered one of Greece’s most beautiful islands, is known for its stunning landscapes and charming towns. Ferry across the Aegean Sea to the ancient port town of Parikia. You’ll enjoy a sunset cruise from the quaint fishing village of Aliki, followed by some time spent learning how to cook traditional Greek dishes in an authentic Parian cooking class. Explore the lively towns of Naoussa and Parikia, with their classic whitewashed and blue-accented houses and historical monasteries and churches. Take a ferry to the nearby island of Antiparos for kayaking, tubing, stand-up paddleboarding and beach time. Paros is the perfect island getaway, offering a mix of relaxation and adventure amidst breathtaking surroundings.

Days 21–23 — Santorini, Greece

Once you visit, you'll always remember the signature view of the white-painted houses of Fira, with sheer cliffs, blue skies & sea. Enjoy sunsets over the volcano in this amazing city. Explore the town of Fira with a cable car ride to the port. Voyage across the sea to hike the volcano Nea Kameni and stop to swim in the hot springs that surround it. Enjoy dinner in the picturesque town of Oia, where the sunset views are unforgettable. Explore the incredible coastline with red, white and black sand beaches on our guided sea kayaking excursion and swim in the waters of the Aegean Sea. Santorini is filled with adventure and relaxation, making this leg of the journey a perfect mix of excitement and tranquility.

Day 24 — Athens, Greece

Return to Athens for your final night, where you’ll enjoy a banquet dinner and one last chance to explore the city. Wander the streets of the Plaka district, shop for souvenirs, and take in the illuminated Acropolis before wrapping up this incredible journey through four countries.

Day 25 — Return Flight Home From Athens, Greece

Say farewell to your new friends as you part ways for your return home. The summer might be over, but all the memories you’ve made will last a lifetime!

Athens, Greece

You will stay in the city center, either at Hermes Hotel or Athenian Callirhoe Hotel. Surrounded by small art museums, cafes, and galleries, enjoy the most elegant and residential blocks of Athens.

Paros, Greece

The Narges Hotel offers a gorgeous space to take advantage of the sun and relaxation that the Greek islands boast.

Santorini, Greece

While in Santorini, we will be staying at either Rosebay Hotel or Santorini Palace. These are resort hotels that combine simplicity with beauty in the heart of the island.

Program Specifics

Flight To Reykjavík, Iceland

Participants on this trip have the option to fly overseas on our chaperoned flight that leaves in the evening from the New York area to Reykjavík. Our leaders greet you at the check-in area and are there to assist you and introduce you to new friends. For the many travelers from outside the New York area, you can choose to join the chaperoned flight and we are happy to assist you with arranging connecting flights at suitable times into New York. You may also choose to meet us in Reykjavík and we will help coordinate your flight times and greet you upon arrival.

Internal Flights

Separate from the airfare to and from this program, there is an additional $950 USD fee for internal flights between Iceland & Norway and between Stockholm & Greece.

Return Flight Home From Athens, Greece

For your return from Athens, we offer a chaperoned flight to New York. For travelers from outside the New York area, we can help you arrange transfers at the suitable times after the group has cleared customs and immigration or you may fly home directly from Athens to your home city and our leaders help you to check-in and remain in the airport until flights in designated times have departed.

Meals

On this program you’ll enjoy a variety of meals, from breakfasts at your hotels to dinners at local restaurants, offering a chance to savor the unique flavors of each country. For lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your own meals in smaller groups in the various towns and cities you visit, ensuring plenty of options and variety. Whether you’re trying traditional Icelandic cuisine, fresh seafood in Norway, or Mediterranean dishes in Greece, every meal is an opportunity to experience something new. But don’t worry – there are plenty of North American options available.

We have satisfied the choosiest of eaters and gladly accommodate most special dietary requests including vegetarian, food allergies, lactose intolerance, and kosher style. We welcome discussing your individual requirements with you and have extensive experience in this area.

Laundry

You will only need one week’s worth of clothing as outlined in the packing list that will be sent to you prior to departure. Every week you may drop off your laundry at a local wash and fold service and then pick it up clean, folded and ready to go.

What's Included

Included in your program tuition is all lodging, breakfast and dinner daily, recreation & entertainment listed, airport transfers in designated times, gratuities & taxes.

Not included is transportation to and from the program, internal flight, lunches, snacks, personal spending money for souvenirs, laundry and the application fee. We also make available optional travel insurance that is not included, but highly recommended.
