Experience medicine first-hand on this Medicine Summer Career Camp in central London for students aged 15 to 18. You do not simply attend lectures: you practise clinical skills, try laparoscopic surgery, take part in emergency simulations and learn from practising doctors and outstanding medical students.
Each day offers a window into a different side of healthcare, from surgery and emergency medicine to general practice and palliative care. The programme also prepares you for medical school applications, with UCAT training, UCAS guidance and a full multiple mini interview (MMI) circuit.
No previous experience is needed. The programme suits curious beginners as well as students already studying related subjects at school.
The camp takes place in central London, with sessions and visits across the city. Residential students stay at Ramsay Hall, part of the University College London (UCL) campus, and experience life as a university student in one of the world's great capitals.
Choose a 1, 2 or 3 week programme. Teaching is delivered through practical workshops, industry visits and sessions led by working professionals.

The programme is led by doctors and medical students. Dr M. and Dr K. both hold an MBBS from University College London, and Dr K. scored 900 in three sections of the UCAT. Dr S. is a resident medical doctor with over three years of clinical experience across emergency medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry and surgery. Hector K. is a fifth-year medical student at the University of Cambridge. Mentors from leading UK universities share their own experience of applying to and studying medicine.
