In an impressive building with six floors, a safe residential area, in Collingham, in London, Discovery Summer provides English Day Courses for juniors, teens and adults. In other words, if you are looking for an English Summer Camp for families, visiting London, this program is just for you. 

All you need to do is to decide what program you will choose from the menu. 

Adults ,teens and juniors are taught in separate classes in the same building. Parents can either study or enjoy free time.

This half day, non-residential day courses program is tailored for juniors and teens, ages from 5-17 year old. From beginner to advanced.

In the menu of English Family Program , there are also half day adult (18+ years old) and **full day teens (13-17 years old) **programs.

In well equipped and modern classrooms, each group receive their own program. Through task based learning technics, participants learn by creating, making, collaborating and discussing. It's a fun way to learn new vocabulary and grammar while improving reading, writing, listening and most importantly, speaking skills. 

Each week begins with a new project linked to the weekly museum visit and ends with project presentation. After the progress reviewed each week., the following week there will be a different themed project with new vocabulary.

Students are put in an English Skills class that is suitable for their age and level after taking a written and spoken exam when they arrive. Through exciting and interactive sessions, the classes improve fundamental skills, technical accuracy, and spoken fluency for Adults, Juniors and Teens.

Course Description

For Junior + Teens : 5 - 17 years | HALF DAY

• 15 hours' tuition per week (09:00 -12:30h or 13:30 -17:00h) Monday to Friday. Afternoon classes subject to demand

• Maximum class size: 12 students

• Task-based classes are lively and fun. There is an emphasis on improving spoken English whilst learning new grammar and vocabulary . Each Monday you begin a new project linked to the weekly museum visit.

Optional Activities

A highlight of the week is the study visit with your teacher to one of the Kensington museums (Science, Natural History, V&A), Design Museum, Kensington Palace, a 20-25 minute walk away.

Weekly afternoon or evening family social event (at extra cost) e.g. dine in a local restaurant, play games in the park, take a Thames river cruise, West End musical.
