Airport Transfers ✈️

Transfers operate from London Heathrow Airport on official arrival and departure days and are included in the programme price. Staff are stationed at Heathrow between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM to welcome students, coordinate transfers, and ensure a smooth journey to Oxford. Families are encouraged to book flights arriving before 3:00 PM so students can join the final transfer of the day.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Morning ☀️

Students begin with breakfast, sign-ins, and room checks, followed by academic sessions such as lessons, seminars, or tutorial preparation.

Day Students / Non-Residential Schedule Overview 🌞

Teens following the non-residential (day student) programme enjoy a full day of learning, enrichment, and activities while returning home in the evening. Each morning begins with drop-off between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, followed by academic lessons, study blocks, or masterclass sessions depending on the day. Students take part in structured learning until midday, with breaks built in to help them stay refreshed and engaged. 📘☕

Afternoons offer a dynamic mix of activities such as goal setting, 21st Century Skills sessions, directed study, enrichment workshops, and excursions. These activities typically run until 4:30–5:00 PM, allowing students to explore new ideas, build confidence, and enjoy the unique academic environment of Oxford or Cambridge. 🌿✨

In the early evening, students enjoy dinner with their classmates, creating a relaxed social environment where friendships grow. After dinner, some days include optional activities such as welcome talks, reflection sessions, or celebratory events. Pick-up generally takes place between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM, though special events—such as a celebratory dinner or end-of-week social—may run later. 🌙🎉


Arrival and Departure for Day Students 🚗

Parents or guardians are responsible for morning drop-off and evening pick-up within the designated timetable windows.

Typical times are:

  • Drop-off: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM

  • Pick-up: 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Staff are always present to guide students, take attendance, and ensure safe handover. On special days like Friday socials, formal events, or the final bop, pick-up may occur later in the evening. 📅🤝

Weekly Structure at a Glance 📘

Week 1

Students take part in morning lessons, study blocks, and enrichment activities. The week includes a city tour, 21st century skills masterclass, directed study, and an excursion day. Evenings include a welcome talk, reflection, and a celebratory dinner toward the end of the week.

Wednesday is an optional (“opt-out”) day, allowing students to skip the scheduled excursion if preferred.

Week 2

The second week includes further lessons, study periods, exploration sessions, and excursions. Students also participate in a university-style skills masterclass, enrichment activities, and more directed study. Friday concludes with graduation, followed by optional events such as a formal dinner and the traditional bop (end-of-programme social). 🎓✨
