Course Description: Parent and Child English Programme at St Julian’s in Malta

Parent & Child English Programme at St Julian’s, Malta

Study English as a family in a quiet, elegant neighbourhood of St Julian’s, a short walk from Spinola Bay. The programme runs year-round (incl. Christmas week). Lessons are not held on weekday public holidays and are not recovered. Timetables are coordinated so parents can be in class while children are learning or in supervised activities.

What Children & Teens Do (Ages 4–17)

Ages 4–10 (Young Learners):

Structured 20 or 30 lessons/week (Mon–Fri) in small, international groups using modern digital classrooms. Lessons emphasize speaking, listening, vocabulary growth, songs/games, and simple projects to build confidence. Families who prefer a lighter afternoon can choose an Afternoon Play Class (Mon–Fri, 1:00–2:30 pm) for play-based English practice.
Ages 11–17 (Juniors):

Age- and level-based classes available all year, developing real-world fluency for school and travel: speaking workshops, listening tasks, grammar in context, presentations, and group projects.
Very young siblings (<4):

Nursery/childcare available near the school while parents attend lessons.
Social programme:

A year-round calendar of cultural and leisure activities helps students practice English outside the classroom and make friends.

What Parents Do

Adults choose the English course that fits their goals—General or Intensive English, Business/Professional English, or combination formats. Classes use up-to-date digital teaching tools and an international classroom dynamic. Individual attention and optional 1-to-1 academic guidance are available to help you progress efficiently while your child is safely engaged next door.

Residence (B&B, breakfast Mon–Fri): Fully air-conditioned rooms with shared bathrooms and communal kitchen; approx. 3 minutes from bedroom to classroom.
Homestay: Family placements within 5–10 minutes’ walk (half board: breakfast & dinner).
Nearby Apartments & Hotels: Self-catering apartments and 3★–5★ hotels in St Julian’s and Sliema.
