Design, program, and solve real problems this summer. This two week experience blends Python, data science, algorithms, AI and machine learning, robotics labs, and game development with an industry exposure day and cultural visits (London highlights and a trip to Cambridge). Sessions are taught by experienced academics and industry professionals. You will collaborate on team projects, present your work, and receive an official certificate, a tutor report, and a letter of recommendation.
Student feedback: 100% said tutors were knowledgeable and classes engaging; 95% would recommend the programme.
Residence: undergraduate halls in Prince’s Gardens, South Kensington (central London; short walk to classes).
Rooms: twin by default (same gender and age). Single ensuite rooms can be requested in advance for an extra fee.
Meals: breakfast and dinner included. Lunch not included; buy on campus (cafés and restaurants are card only) or use pre paid lunch vouchers available for residential programmes.
Laundry: on site laundry room; credits purchased via mobile app (staff can assist).
Welfare: 24 hour on site residential team; secure, supervised environment with clear medical and exeat procedures.
Airports: within about 20 miles of London Heathrow; also accessible from Gatwick. Heathrow recommended.
Arrival (Mon 20 July 2026): team on site from 09:00. Room access after 15:00. Check in, campus tour, local area orientation.
Departure (Sat 1 August 2026): vacate rooms by 08:00; luggage storage available for the day if needed.
Airport transfers: available at extra cost each way for students with pre booked reservations. Transfers are provided only to students who reserve in advance.
Core learning: Python programming, algorithms, data science, AI and ML, robotics, and game development.
Hands on labs: build and test your own projects; tackle coding challenges.
Industry exposure: Day in Industry to observe how computer scientists solve real world problems.
Future pathways: guided reflection on university courses, careers, and skills mapping.

Exeat (leaving with parent or guardian): allowed with an exeat form submitted 24 hours in advance.
Medication: bring your own medication; staff cannot administer or supply medicines including OTC. Bring a copy of prescriptions and inform the team at check in if you need storage or assistance. Parental consent required for any OTC use.
Laptop required: all students must bring a laptop or tablet and a charger.
Packing essentials: passport or visa and travel insurance documents; stationery; toiletries; spending money about £15–20 per day; UK power adapter, water bottle, compact umbrella.
Suggested clothing: T shirts and shorts, light sweater or jacket, jeans or shorts or skirts, comfortable walking shoes, athletic wear, raincoat, hat, sleepwear, underwear and socks, casual outfit for socials, formal attire for graduation.
