Location

This international camp, is located in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1200 meters, near the well-known ski resort of Villars-sur-Ollon.

The Location: Villars-sur-Ollon is located in the Canton of Vaud, 120 km from Geneva. In the heart of French-speaking part of Switzerland, this ideal location allows our families to reach Zurich, Milan, Paris, in 3 hours.

What's Included

Included in the cost :

  • Full board, laundry, health and accident insurance as legally required in Switzerland.

  • Language class and intensive ski package. Sports and ski lessons, ski pass, equipment (skis, ski-boots, ski suits, helmet)

  • School Uniforms : 2 sweat-shirts + 2 polo-shirts

  • Trips

  • Fifteen hours per week, English, French or academic immersion lessons.

Activities

Snow Garden:

  • Suitable for children from 3 years old.
  • Secure learning environment with a conveyor carpet and baby-lift.

Ski:

  • Development and enhancement of basic ski techniques.
  • Catered to levels from beginner to advanced.

Snow Sports:

  • Located on 2 hectares of rural land, surrounded by forests and meadows with local wildlife like squirrels, deer, and foxes.

  • Traditional Swiss chalet designed for children's accommodation, featuring classrooms, entertainment and study areas, and spacious bedrooms for 2-4 beds.

  • Sports facilities including swimming pool, tennis court, golf course, football field, basketball court, volleyball area, and table tennis.

  • Updated Information Technology with wireless laptops and interactive whiteboards.

  • A shelter amidst old trees serves as a base for ecological activities and environmental awareness, renovated with local materials and sustainable energy sources.

  • Balanced and varied menus respecting cultural differences, featuring traditional European and Swiss cuisine like fondue and raclette.

  • A resident paramedic oversees medical care, with access to local doctors and a pediatric hospital in Aigle for emergencies, maintaining constant contact with parents.

Cultural Experience: Midweek rest days include cultural excursions, like visiting the Swiss Chocolate Factory Cailler, the Olympic Museum, and shopping for souvenirs.

Transportation

The camp takes place in boarding school campus in Villars Switzerland, conveniently close to Geneva and other airports. Airport transfers are usually arranged with other international students who are catching flights on the same day.

  • Transfer Service Geneva Airport: CHF 220

  • Transfer every Saturday for children traveling alone UM

  • Arrivals between 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM

  • Departures between 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM

  • Individual taxi transfer: CHF 600.- (Geneva airport – The Camp)

Lesson Plan

We offer three different programs tailored to the age of the children 🚡

  • “Mini-champions” for children aged 3 to 6
  • “Juniors” for children aged 7 to 10
  • “Teens“ for children aged 11 and older

At the resort, there's a dedicated snow garden in the village for younger kids, where our aspiring champions can learn to ski in a safe, beginner-friendly zone. This area is equipped with moving walkways and a mini draglift, specifically designed for novice skiers.

  • Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 12:00 from 5 years old.
  • We offer French, English as foreign language classes as well as tutoring.
  • Classes are selected by ability and age.

Language Camp & Ski Intensive*

  • French or English immersion 5 mornings a week from 9 to 12 am
  • Ski afternoons with school pupils
  • Ski afternoons - Wednesday & Saturday or Sunday with the school boarders
  • Boarding life: evening and Week-Ends in a group of 20 to 30 French-English bilingual boarding pupils

*The programs are liable to be changed depending on weather conditions. *From Saturday 10.02 to 17.02 = Intensive Ski Camp only (mornings and afternoons). No language course or academic courses over this period.

A typical day

Morning

  • 7.45 am Wake up!
  • 8.00 am Breakfast
  • 9.00 am Leave for the SKI slopes OR Langauge lessons
  • 12.00 pm Lunch at Bretaye

Afternoon

  • 1.30 – 3.30 pm Ski
  • 3.30 – 4.00 pm “Goûter”, hot chocolate then we go again!
  • 4.00 – 5.00 pm Ski and back to campus
  • 5.00 – 6.30 pm Shower, letter writing and games

Evening

  • 6.30 pm Dinner
  • 7.30 – 9.30 pm Evening activities and staggered bedtime

On the Slopes: Children enjoy skiing in small, supervised groups with experienced professionals focusing on skill development and strict adherence to safety protocols.

After-ski Activities:

  • Tobogganing for pure pleasure in the resort or on the property.
  • Ice skating available at Villars (indoor) and Gryon (outdoors).
  • Winter hiking on marked trails, potentially spotting wildlife like chamois or deer.
  • Relaxing in the natural hot springs at Lavey-les-Bains after skiing or snowboarding.

Evening Time: A happy and loving atmosphere for children to share moments with friends from around the world, with activities led by guides and educators. Special moments for siblings to reunite and enjoy laughter and fun.

Ski Test and Slalom: At the end of their stay, children take a ski test to earn a certificate and medal. The season concludes with a slalom race involving children and their parents, making them champions of the white arena.

  • Geneva airport transfers: CHF 220

  • (Geneva - Villars or Villars - Geneva : 120km)

  • Individual transfers are available for all dates: CHF 600.-, per transfer, cost shared between the participants

  • Group transfers: CHF 220.- per transfer and per child (depending on the number of participants and the dates)

  • Extra costs: Ski test, ice skating, special evenings activities for juniors (bowling, cinema, hot springs), pocket money, medical excess

Security

  • A dedicated team lives in the chalet, ensuring round-the-clock supervision of the children.

  • Each child has a specific team member responsible for their care.

  • A resident, qualified paramedic is available for medical treatments, temperature checks, and liaising with local doctors.

  • The resort has three general practitioners, and in case of major incidents, children are transferred to the pediatric hospital in Aigle, 10 km away, with parents kept in constant contact.
