Transportation

Location:

  • Campuses located in ski resorts near the Italian and French borders.

  • Closest major airport: Geneva International Airport, plus several small private airports.

Airport Transfers:

  • Return transfers available from Geneva Airport to the camp and back.

  • Welcome desk at Geneva Airport during summer in the arrival hall.

  • Option to organize pick-up from hotels in Geneva or Lausanne.

Arrival Assistance:

  • Welcoming campers in the arrival hall of Geneva Airport.

  • Staff available to assist and transport campers to the camp via private buses.

Support for Younger Campers:

  • "Unaccompanied Minor" service available for solo-traveling youngsters.

  • Ensures assistance throughout the airport and handover to camp staff.

Departure Support:

  • Assistance with flight check-in and security.

  • Special attention for unaccompanied minors, staying with them until boarding.

Lesson Plan

Language Courses (Optional)

  • Students grouped by language proficiency.
  • Maximum of 7 students per teacher.
  • Available in French, English, Spanish, and German.
  • Periods: Approximately 50 minutes
  • Conversational, Intensive, and Private courses offered.
  • Detailed certificates and a portfolio of work provided.
  • Conversational Language Course is highly interactive, focusing on speaking skills. 8 hours of tuition per week, in 4 two-hour sessions.
  • Intensive Language Course covers speaking, reading, and writing. 15 hours of tuition per week, ideal for exam preparation or rapid progress. Typically 5 three-hour sessions each morning with afternoon activities.

Paragliding (Optional)

  • For children aged 6 to 17 years.
  • Approximately 40 minutes of flight, covering Bagnes Valley from 2,200 m to 800 m altitude.

  • 07:30: Wake-Up and Breakfast

  • 09:00 – 12:00: Morning Ski & Snowboard or Language Lessons
  • 12:00 – 12:45: Lunch on the Mountain
  • 12:45 – 15:45: Afternoon Ski & Snowboard Session
  • 16:00 – 17:00: Relaxation Time (Hot chocolate & snacks, shower time, and possible marshmallow treats.)
  • 17:00 – 19:00: Language Lessons or Optional Activities
  • 19:00 – 20:00: Dinner at Camp
  • 20:00: Evening Activities (Options include ice skating, disco night, torchlight walk, music quiz, or music video creation.)
  • Bedtime According to Age: Room checks and a tidy room competition.

  • Health insurance and insurance against accidents/week: Compulsory 120 CHF

  • Cancellation insurance/week: Compulsory 50 CHF

  • Pocket Money Advice: Average of CHF 100 per week, for souvenirs and snacks (meals and most activities are included, except optional dine out). Pocket money can be left at the reception for safekeeping. Pocket money can be withdrawn daily from 16:00 to 17:00, and on excursion days, also from 08:00 to 09:00. Exact statement provided to the student at the end of the camp upon request.

Security

  • Student safety is top priority with all activities.

  • Staff has valid First Aid Certificate and background checks required.

  • Over half of staff are full-year employees to maintain high standards.

  • Core team works with the same groups annually for better rapport and service.

  • Camps supervised by a Resort Manager, an Activities Manager, and a Head Organizer.

  • Monitor to student ratio is 1:6, overall ratio with all staff is 1:2.

  • All monitors selected based on criteria for skills and experience with children.

  • Two-week training course before each season, including technical training and philosophy familiarization.

  • Seasonal training includes First Aid, Lifeguard Training, Fire Safety, Child Protection, and emergency procedures.

  • Winter ski and snowboard instructors are accredited by the Swiss Ski School.

  • 24-Hour Supervision: Presence of a nurse, 24-hour reception, and night guard.

  • Strict daily safety protocols for all activities.

  • Daily staff meetings to assess risks.

  • Comprehensive risk assessments for each activity.

  • Proximity to medical clinics and hospitals, with quick helicopter access if needed.
