Hosted at the historic Shrewsbury School, founded in 1552 and set beside the River Severn, the English Academy programme offers students a rich blend of high-quality English learning, real-world language practice, and classic British boarding school life. With outstanding facilities, a vibrant international community, and strong pastoral care, this programme is ideal for students looking to build confidence, fluency, and independence in a safe and inspiring environment.
Students benefit from structured classroom learning alongside Active English sessions, where language is practised beyond the classroom through local study visits and cultural exploration.
Students receive 20 hours of English tuition per week, combining structured learning with practical application.
English Levels: A1–C1 (Beginner to Advanced)
Maximum class size: 12 students
