On-Campus Immersion
Embark on a transformative journey on the prestigious Yale campus, where you'll engage with cutting-edge engineering techniques through hands-on learning. This program, in collaboration with the summer program, offers interactive lectures from renowned experts, enhancing your understanding of current engineering research. You'll develop critical thinking skills, learn to design and analyze research projects, and work towards creating a comprehensive research proposal to pursue throughout the school year.
Research Mentorship
After your on-campus experience, continue your research journey with Polygence's virtual mentorship program. Matched 1:1 with a mentor in your field of interest, you'll have 10 virtual sessions to refine your project at your own pace. Your final research paper can be submitted for publication, presented at symposiums, or even turned into a podcast. Choose your mentorship start date in August, September, or October 15th, and benefit from ongoing support as you develop your research skills.

If your home country is not one of the 40 countries in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program, you will need a B-2 Visitor Visa to attend the program. The B-2 visa is for tourism and short-term study (under 16–18 hours of classes per week).
After enrollment, you will receive a Letter of Introduction to help support your visa application.
If your country is on the Visa Waiver Program list, you do not need a visa. However, you must apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before entering the U.S.

For international students, the international registration fee is $379 (residential) OR $239 (commuter) – this fee covers a medical policy for the student and their airport transfers.

Students applying to Gifted Programs must demonstrate eligibility by providing one of the following (submitted during the application process):
Nationally normed test results at the 95th percentile or above in intellectual ability, academic achievement, or creativity (within the last 5 school years).
Documentation showing one of the following within the last 5 years:
Acceptance into a gifted education program or gifted school
Participation in a recognized talent search
Enrollment in a comparable advanced summer enrichment or gifted program
A recommendation from one core subject teacher (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies) confirming the student’s advanced learning readiness.
Gifted courses require students to engage actively through digital platforms, including access to online course materials, assignments, and instructor feedback.
All students enrolled in Gifted Programs must bring a laptop or tablet with internet access.
