The Nike Dance Camp at Bradfield College is a residential summer camp for boys and girls aged 10–17 of all experience levels. Focused on movement, expression and confidence, it blends commercial, contemporary and freestyle dance, with up to 24 hours of dance coaching each week and a weekly showcase performance.
Each dancer receives an individual coaching review, a certificate and a report to take home.
Dancers train twice a day in small groups with experienced coaches, receiving individual feedback as they learn new routines and develop technique, musicality and stage presence. Styles include Urban Beat, Video Beat, Jazz Beat and K-pop Beat. Every week ends with a showcase performance for other campers, an opportunity to perform live on stage, and an awards ceremony.
The programme is led by Dance Director Joelle D'Fontaine, founder of At Your Beat Studios in London and New York, working with At Your Beat instructors.
Every player receives the same amount of dance coaching; the difference lies in how the afternoons are spent:
Total Dance: up to 8 hours a week of dance workshops on topics such as nutrition, teamwork, goal-setting, communication and match analysis, giving an insight into the lifestyle and mindset of a professional.
Dance + English: up to 13 hours a week of English lessons taught by qualified teachers using the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) method, with dance-themed projects and discussions. Ideal for international players who want to build their confidence in English.
Each day follows a simple, active rhythm: breakfast and a morning meeting, followed by the first dance session; lunch, then workshops or English lessons in the afternoon; and dinner followed by a second dance session before downtime and the evening programme.
Bradfield College is a leading English independent school near Reading, with a historic campus and modern sports facilities. It is about 48 miles (77 km) from central London; London Heathrow is 35 miles (56 km) away and London Gatwick 71 miles (114 km).
This is a fully residential camp. Players live on site at Bradfield College in a mix of single and shared bedrooms, and all meals are provided: three meals a day plus an evening snack. Outside training, players can unwind and make friends in the players' lounge.
Excursions are built into every camp:
London (every other week): a city tour taking in Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, a ride on the Thames and time for shopping.
Oxford (every other week): a tour of the historic university city.
Theme park (two-week camps only): a full day of rides and fairground games at a major UK theme park.
Evenings bring a varied activities programme, and players can relax and socialise in the players' lounge. Weekly awards ceremonies celebrate effort and achievement in front of peers and staff.
All 2027 sessions take place at Bradfield College, with one-week and two-week options throughout the summer. Each one-week camp is 6 nights and each two-week camp is 13 nights; 2027 sessions run Monday to Sunday.

Up to 24 hours a week of dance coaching and games; up to 8 hours a week of workshops (Total Dance) or up to 13 hours a week of English lessons (Dance + English); on-site accommodation; three meals a day plus an evening snack; excursions; the evening activities programme; an exclusive Nike gift pack; an individual coaching review, certificate and take-home report; 24/7 welfare staff; on-site medical support; and travel insurance.
Not included: flights and airport transfers. An airport transfer service from London Heathrow or Gatwick, with staff meeting players on arrival day and accompanying them back on departure day, can be added after booking at an extra cost.
Welfare staff are on site 24 hours a day, with a staff-to-player ratio of 1:6 and on-site medical support throughout the camp. Safeguarding and child-welfare procedures are a central part of the programme, and travel insurance is included in the fee. Players are assessed on arrival and placed in groups matched to their age and ability, so everyone trains at the right level. Camps welcome young people from more than 100 nationalities, with around 30% native English speakers, creating a genuinely international but well-supervised environment.
This camp suits boys and girls aged 10–17 who love to dance, whether they are complete beginners or already train regularly. It is especially rewarding for young people who want to grow in confidence and enjoy performing, and international students can add English lessons to their week.
