Designed for students fascinated by the science and business of beauty. Hosted in Milan, this two-week program explores how cosmetics are formulated, tested and brought to market — from the chemistry of ingredients to AI-driven formulation and the trends reshaping the global beauty industry. Hands-on lab work lets students create their own products, from molecules to finished formula.

Milan is one of the world's leading centres for cosmetics and make-up manufacturing. Students study in a real academic environment, accessing the labs of Università di Pavia — one of the world's leading cosmetics universities — with hands-on access to formulation and testing laboratories, while experiencing one of Europe's most dynamic and stylish cities.

01 – Formulation Chemistry & Product Development The fundamentals of formulation chemistry, and how a cosmetic product goes from idea to shelf.

02 – Testing, Efficacy & Safety + AI Hands-on lab work creating skincare and make-up, and how products are tested for efficacy and safety — including the growing role of AI in formulation.

03 – Beauty Trends & Innovation Decode the trends reshaping the global beauty market, from skin longevity and K-Beauty to the science and storytelling of ingredients.

Residential Program

Day Program (Monday–Friday): Morning classes 10:00–12:30, Lunch 12:30–13:30, Afternoon labs 13:30–16:30.
