Beautiful landscapes, immersive culture, and full-on adventure – this South Pacific teen tour packs New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji into one epic summer. From Zorbing in Rotorua to SCUBA on the Great Barrier Reef and island-hopping in Fiji, you’ll travel in a small, tight-knit group with leaders who create a warm, family-style atmosphere from day one. This isn’t just a trip – it’s a four-week adventure you’ll be talking about for years. 💫

Itinerary 🗺️

Days 1–2 – Flight to Auckland, New Zealand ✈️

Fly overnight across the International Date Line to Auckland (you “lose” a day now and gain it back on the return). Orientation begins on arrival with icebreakers and “get to know you” activities so the group bonds quickly.

Day 3 – Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿

  • Welcome orientation and city tour

  • Hike up Mt. Eden for panoramic views

  • Stroll the waterfront and soak up the harbor vibe

  • Visit the All Blacks Experience:

  • Learn about New Zealand’s rugby culture

  • Test your skills

  • Witness the powerful Haka in an immersive setting

Days 4–6 – Rotorua, New Zealand

Adventure and geothermal magic:

  • Whitewater raft the Kaituna River with 13 drops, including the 22 ft Tutea Falls

  • Visit Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland for colorful hot springs and geysers

  • Walk through steamy pools at Kuirau Park

  • Ride the gondola for sweeping views, then race down Skyline’s luge tracks

  • Try Zorbing – rolling downhill in a giant inflatable ball where it was invented

On the way back to Auckland:

Days 10–11 – Surfers Paradise, Australia 🇦🇺

Welcome to the Gold Coast, Australia’s surf and sun playground:

  • Learn to surf with professional instructors at Surfers Paradise or nearby beaches

  • Explore laid-back Coolangatta

  • Join a guided kayaking excursion on sparkling waterways

  • Enjoy free time to explore shops, cafés, and the beachfront

Days 12–13 – Brisbane, Australia

Wildlife and city vibes:

  • Spend the day at Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin’s zoo):

  • See koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles and more

  • Learn about conservation work and animal protection

  • Discover Queensland’s capital:

  • Wander the South Bank

  • Visit local shops and cafés

Days 14–17 – Cairns, Australia & the Great Barrier Reef 🐠

Gateway to the world’s most famous reef:

  • Hit a cable park for kneeboarding or wakeboarding on a dedicated lake

  • Learn about reef ecology from a local expert

  • Snorkel or SCUBA* the Great Barrier Reef:

  • Coral gardens

  • Tropical fish

  • Possible sea turtles and other marine life

  • Explore the rainforest and waterfalls of the Atherton Tablelands on a full-day excursion

Days 18–21 – Sydney, Australia

Iconic city, big adventure:

  • Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge for incredible views

  • Take on the Wild Ropes Treetop Course above the harbor

  • Walk the Coogee to Bondi coastal trail with cliffs, coves and beaches

  • Explore central Sydney:

  • Pitt Street and the Queen Victoria Building

  • Shops, cafés, and street life

  • Guided tour of the Sydney Opera House

  • Say goodbye to participants ending after the 21-day Australia & New Zealand portion before continuing on to Fiji 🌺

Days 22–23 – Momi Bay & Sigatoka, Fiji 🇫🇯

Land in Fiji and dive into culture:

  • Put on a Sulu (traditional Fijian garment)

  • Join a formal sevusevu welcome ceremony

  • Visit the town of Sigatoka and its markets

  • Hike Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park:

  • Join a farewell kava ceremony, reflecting on your journey with new friends

Day 28 – Return Flight Home from Nadi, Fiji ✈️

Enjoy one last Fijian sunrise or sunset, pick up final souvenirs at a local market, and head to the airport. Crossing the International Date Line on the way back means you get your “lost” day returned. The trip ends, but the memories and friendships don’t. 💛

Flight to Auckland, New Zealand

  • International Date Line crossing means you lose one calendar day on the way out

Internal Flights (Additional Fee)

There is an additional $1,195 USD internal flight fee covering:

  • Auckland → Brisbane

  • Brisbane → Cairns

  • Cairns → Sydney

  • Sydney → Nadi (Fiji)

Return Flight from Nadi, Fiji

  • Chaperoned flight back to the USA via San Francisco or Los Angeles, then on to New York

  • Staff assist with onward connections for travelers from other regions

Entry Regulations

  • Separate e-visas are required for New Zealand and Australia

  • These must be obtained and purchased before departure and shown at check-in

  • Detailed guidance is sent to families about 6 weeks before departure
