Begin with an overnight flight across the International Date Line. Upon arrival, meet your group and kick off orientation with fun icebreakers and team-building activities.
Start your adventure in vibrant Tokyo, where tradition and modern culture intertwine. Explore Tsukiji Fish Market, cross the famous Shibuya Crossing, visit Asakusa and Sensoji Temple, watch live sumo wrestling, and enjoy an interactive experience at the Dawn Avatar Robot Café.
Learn sushi-making from expert chefs and dive into the digital art world at TeamLab.
Take a scenic day trip to Hakone to see Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, enjoy views of Mt. Fuji at Hakone Shrine, and explore the Narusawa Ice Cave before returning to Tokyo’s neon-lit streets.
Ride a bullet train to Kyoto, Japan’s cultural heart. Begin with a Zen Buddhist meditation class, then discover the Fushimi Inari Shrine, wander the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and visit preserved historic districts and UNESCO sites.

All airfare for this program is arranged as group travel.
Travel begins with a chaperoned group flight from New York or Los Angeles. Leaders meet participants at check-in and remain with the group throughout travel.
All participants must join the group flight. For those outside North America, alternative arrangements can be discussed.
A chaperoned return flight to New York or Los Angeles is provided. Leaders assist with check-in and remain until all flights within designated times have departed.

Japan’s cuisine is an essential part of the experience—fresh sushi, ramen, okonomiyaki, yakiniku, noodles, vegetables, and more.
Note that Japan has fewer North American–style alternatives, so picky eaters may need patience and flexibility.
