& More

We have so much more, activities, excursion etc. If you want to explore more get more details here it.

Location

Our boarding school is in the heart of Switzerland. We look down from the Zugerberg mountain onto the lively city of Zug, so our campus is secluded and yet we are easy to reach. Zurich International Airport is only one hour away, shortening the distance even if home is on the other side of the globe. Lucerne is rich with culture and history and close by.

Zug, an economically thriving city and headquarters to many multinational companies, has an attractive setting by the lake. A short ride on a funicular railway takes you to our 60-acre campus. The train climbs, steeply. You see farmland with cattle grazing and then forest, maybe foxes or deer. At the top of the line you will find our Swiss international boarding school.

Accommodations

In our boarding house, children will share their room with another student to further practice their language skills in German or English and get to know a new culture from a personal perspective.

All rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, cupboard, shelves, office chair, a lockable closet and a small fridge.

Meals

At breakfast, we serve a continental breakfast with several choices of meat, cheese, cereals, fruit, jams and yogurts. Lunch is a sit down, three-course menu and dinner is a simple dish accompanied by soup or salad bar. Meat, fish, or other good sources of protein are served along with other foods such as potatoes, pasta and rice, which are an important part of a healthy diet. Fresh fruit, tea and our very own spring water from the mountain are available throughout the day. Our regular meals include cocoa and afternoon tea breaks, in order to give students energy throughout the day.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all children's dislikes, but we do make it a priority to meet many dietary needs and requirements, for example vegetarian, allergies or religious requirements. We are happy to discuss any special requirement a student might have.

Pocket Money

We recommend that your child brings about 100-200 CHF pocket money for personal expenses. This money can be deposited with the supervisors upon arrival and will be kept safe. Unfortunately, we cannot exchange foreign currencies. We strongly advice that students' valuables including money and passports be deposited at our summer sessions business office for safe-keeping upon arrival. Students may access these items if necessary.

Lesson Plan

Located at an altitude of 950m, and surrounded by outstanding beauty of Swiss nature children, ages 10-15 experience the motto of the school, Learn, Grow, Move and Meet in real time. At the camp students will emerge as clear thinkers, lovers of art and music, with a sound grounding in scientific method and the use of technology. Their understanding of cultural complexity will be exemplary. The school hopes to equip them with a moral compass to navigate the ethical questions of tomorrow. By choosing from two sessions; Session 1, for 3 weeks, or Session 2, for 2 weeks long, in Summer Camp young learners will spend their time performing a dance routine, learning how to paint, shoot a film alongside a real-life director, learning how to run a company or build a rocket. Special events with internationally recognized professionals is organized. Professional film directors, photographers, sportsmen, digital creators and technology experts visit the campus.

Why It is a Great Choice

  • A place to develop independence, gain resilience, build self-confidence and make lifelong friends.
  • Small class sizes of approximately 10 students and personalized attention ensures maximum learning potential.
  • A close-knit, family community in an international environment, with students from over 40 nationalities that foster open-mindedness, respect and responsibility.

Language courses in the mornings

The mornings will be focused on learning either English or German, depending on the selected choice. A placement test will take place beforehand to match students by age and language proficiency level. The courses are held in very small class sizes so that all students benefit from an individualized learning approach.

Afternoons are for Sports, Science, Business or Arts.

Afternoons are devoted to workshops and sports such as tennis, golf, badminton, soccer and beach volleyball. You learn about business, leadership and bringing new ideas to life by running your own shop; you learn science and technology with projects like building rockets to launch in the sky or heat shields on a budget. Creativity and arts might be creating your own movie with the support of a real-life director.
