Our two-week Future Entrepreneurs programme is crafted for ambitious students ready to dive into the fast-paced world of business. This programme offers a deep dive into key business disciplines, including entrepreneurship, marketing, and financial strategy, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to thrive in any business environment.

The course emphasises innovation and strategic leadership. You’ll be challenged to think critically and creatively as you tackle real-world business problems and develop strategies that could shape the future of industries. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and business simulations, you’ll gain practical experience that mirrors the challenges faced by today’s business leaders.

Collaboration and networking are integral parts of this experience. You’ll work in teams to develop business plans, pitch ideas, and analyse market trends, learning to navigate the complexities of teamwork and leadership in a corporate setting. These collaborative projects are designed to sharpen your decision-making skills and enhance your ability to lead diverse teams.

In addition to technical business skills, the course also focuses on personal development, helping you build the confidence, resilience, and adaptability needed to succeed in the business world. School Information

Canford School, the 2018 'Independent Boarding School of the Year' and the 2019 'Tatler Public School of the Year,' hosts Canford Summer School. Students have a genuine British boarding school experience thanks to the lovely surroundings and superb amenities. Students will enroll in an interesting academic program of their choosing. Every day, an engaging program of activities and events is organized outside of the classroom. At the school, two summer school programs are offered: a Junior course for children aged 8 to 11, and a Senior course for students aged 11 to 15.

Summer School Social Program

Canford Summer School students participate in a varied and enjoyable multi-activity social program that includes a variety of exciting activities in the afternoons and evenings. Students can spend time with their new friends and participate in a variety of new and interesting activities as part of the social program.

Students will participate in a multi-activity program that includes football, arts & crafts, music, and swimming, among other activities. Every afternoon, students often have a choice of over ten different activities. There will also be a number of events for the entire school, such as discos, sports tournaments, and filmmaking.

Activities

During the two-week course, students will go on three excursions to famous UK tourist cities or destinations. Our dedicated team of staff accompany the students and have a series of activities planned for the students to ensure that they make the most from their trip. During their stay, all students will visit London at least once. Our excursion destinations this summer include Bournemouth Beach, Oxford, London, and Bath.

Accommodations

Our boarding houses are modern, comfortable, and well looked after. Students stay in single, double, or small dorm rooms with shared bathrooms, plus spacious common rooms where they can relax, watch a film, or play games like pool and table tennis. Each room also has a desk and a small wardrobe for hanging clothes.

Students live in one of five boarding houses, where they build strong friendships that often last well beyond the summer. Our dedicated House Parents and supportive house teams help create a welcoming community that makes these bonds possible.

Student Support & Welfare

The school's top goal is the safety and well-being of all kids. The school is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of children. During their time at Camp, students are housed on-site in safe and comfortable boarding homes. Their supportive staff, which includes committed and experienced welfare workers such as House Parents and Welfare Managers, is accessible 24 hours a day to assist students. All employees, volunteers, and contractors are expected to follow our extensive Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and Procedures.

Your Learning Journey:

  • Learn the essentials of how businesses start and grow. You’ll explore the basics of entrepreneurship, from spotting opportunities to understanding what makes an idea workable. Activities focus on planning, goal-setting and exploring the first steps of launching a venture.

  • This module introduces you to the world of markets, customers and finance. You’ll look at how businesses attract buyers, set prices and manage resources. Through case studies and interactive tasks you’ll practise analysing trends and making decisions with limited information.

  • The final module focuses on communication and persuasion. You’ll work in teams to prepare a pitch for a business idea, shaping your message and delivering it with clarity. These sessions give you practical experience in presenting confidently and working under time pressure.
