Do I Need a Visa to Travel to the USA? 🇺🇸✈️

Students attending our USA Summer Courses may be eligible to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), depending on their nationality.

Visa Waiver Program (VWP)

Many international students can enter the USA without a visa for short stays by applying for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before travel. This allows travel to the USA for educational programmes lasting up to 90 days.

When Is a Visa Required?

Some nationalities are not eligible for the Visa Waiver Program and will need to apply for a visitor visa to attend the programme. Visa requirements depend on:

  • Nationality

  • Passport type

  • Individual travel history

Support With Your Application

We understand that visa processes can feel complex. Individual guidance and support are available on request for families whose students require a visa, including:

  • Advice on the correct visa category

  • Supporting documentation where required

  • Guidance on next steps and timelines

We recommend checking visa and ESTA eligibility as early as possible to allow plenty of time before travel.
