Course Description: Business and Finance Summer Camp at University College London

This Business, Finance & Enterprise Summer Programme is a university-led academic experience delivered on the Bloomsbury campus in the heart of central London. Designed for ambitious students interested in global business, finance, and entrepreneurship, the programme blends rigorous academic teaching, industry exposure, and cultural immersion within a true university environment.

Students live and study like undergraduates—attending lectures delivered by university lecturers, engaging in applied workshops, completing collaborative projects, and exploring the UK’s leading universities and business hubs through fully supervised excursions.

📍 Campus & Location

Teaching takes place in UCL academic buildings on the Bloomsbury campus, London’s historic academic quarter. Student accommodation is located at Garden Halls, approximately a 10-minute walk from classrooms.

This central Zone 1 location places students within walking distance of major cultural landmarks, museums, and business districts, offering a fully immersive London university experience.

🗓️ A Day in the Life (Weekdays)

Morning (09:00–12:00)

Students attend faculty-specific academic classes delivered by university lecturers. Sessions combine lectures, seminars, case discussions, and problem-solving workshops focused on business and finance topics.

Lunch

Students dine together at the UCL refectory, encouraging peer interaction and community building.

Afternoon

Afternoons focus on experiential and enrichment learning, including:

Evening

Evenings include:

  • Guest lectures and career talks

Weekends are fully programmed and included:

  • Oxford University Visit – guided college tour (including Magdalen College), academic context, and city exploration

  • Cambridge University Visit – guided college tour (including King’s College), academic insight, and traditional punting

  • London Cultural Day – museums, landmarks, and cultural institutions

  • Brighton Coastal Excursion – full-day seaside experience including Brighton Pier and The Lanes

All excursions are fully supervised, with organised transport and pastoral staff present at all times.
