Location
Located in a multicultural and multilingual country, the school is housed in the ‘Château d’Arvel’, a modernized nineteenth-century mansion in Territet - Montreux which has a panoramic view overlooking Lake Geneva. The climate is temperate and the pleasant environment conductive to healthy living and studying.
The campus includes modern classrooms, IT & multimedia rooms, arts & crafts room, a laboratory, a snack bar, indoor and outdoor sports facilities with a private tennis court.

Excursions to places of interest: Geneva, Bern, Lausanne, city sightseeing tours, including museums, art galleries and temporary shows, chocolate & cheese factory visit.
Transportation
From the airport
The closest airport is Geneva airport (about 1 hour and 15 minutes ‘drive)
Accompanied trip to or from Geneva-Airport can be requested on the application form.
Group transfers will be organized for arrivals and departures between 9:00 and 17:00 only. Outside these hours, the individual rate will apply.
Our driver will be waiting for the student with the school sign in the arrivals hall (just after the baggage claim area).
It is important that you notify us if the student is travelling as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM).
By train
The closest railway station is Montreux (about 10 minutes’ drive). Direct trains run twice per hour from Geneva airport to Montreux railway station.
Taxis are available at the railway station; school transfers can also be organized upon request.
Lesson Plan
A La Carte Swiss Summer Camp usually have 80 students aged from 6 to 18 years old from 20 nationalities around the globe. Small classes, never over 12 students, enable personalized attention. The camp is a combination of intensive language studies in the morning, followed by a stimulating variety of sports, cultural and leisure activities in the afternoon. Language lessons (French or English as a foreign language) take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Students are interviewed and then placed in a class suited to their level. Lessons also include conversation classes. There is a minimum 2 week stay with arrivals and departures every Wednesday. Wednesdays are non-instructional days.
