This fantastic camp on the historic Oxford University campus is the perfect gateway into the world of law for curious 13–15-year-olds. Participants are introduced to a discipline that is rarely studied before university, with an exceptional introductory course in Law taught in small groups by expert tutors.
You’ll explore fascinating legal topics such as Tort Law, Criminal Law, and the constitutional framework, all of which are typically part of the first year of an undergraduate law degree.
Not only will you expand your knowledge of law, but you’ll also develop the core skills for success in this profession (and many others):
📝 Critical evaluation of evidence
🎙️ Building nuanced, well-structured arguments
💼 Presenting ideas with confidence and clarity
***
Guided by inspiring tutors from top institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard, you’ll study in small groups averaging just 7 students per class. Our rigorous vetting ensures every educator is not only academically accomplished but also passionate about sharing their knowledge.
This unique environment allows for personalized teaching, lively discussions, and an unforgettable academic experience.
***
Beyond law modules, you’ll take part in academic skills workshops designed to prepare you for future success. Previous sessions have included:
Productivity Tips
21st Century Technology Skills
University-Level Learning Support
These workshops build confidence and provide tools for the next steps in your academic journey.
This program is designed for students with at least upper-intermediate English (B2 level).
***
Law in Action: Develop oratory skills, practice debating, and simulate a UK trial in a moot court setting.
Human Rights Law: Explore the foundations of human rights, constitutional validity, and generational frameworks.
Criminal Law: Learn key concepts of mens rea and actus reus, analyze legal precedents, and discuss major offences such as murder and assault.
Mock Trial: Conclude the course with a fully staged mock trial, applying your knowledge in practice.
