Summer Fields Day Camp: A Premier Experience for Boys and Girls

This programme is designed specifically for boys and girls aged 6-14, many of whom may be experiencing their first trip abroad. Our structured lessons follow a communicative approach, helping students develop their language skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and engaging environment.

The activity programme makes full use of the school’s stunning 70-acre campus, which leads to the Cherwell River and features outstanding sports and recreational facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, outdoor sports fields, sports hall, pavilion, art room, climbing wall, theatre, and adventure playground.

Programme Details

• Duration: 2-4 weeks (13 July – 8th August 2025) (Minimum 2-week enrolment)

• Location: Summer Fields School, Mayfield Rd, Summertown, Oxford, OX2 7EN

• Accessibility: Just 15 minutes from Oxford City Centre

• Age Range: 6-14 years (For boys and girls)

Course Content and Activities

Academic Program

• Daily Lessons: 15 hours of tuition per week, structured into two 1.5-hour sessions each morning.

• Class Size: Maximum of 15 students for a personalized learning experience.

• Levels: Open to students from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1).

• Certification: Includes a placement test, certificate of attendance, and all learning materials.

Excursions and Daily Activities

• Excursions: Full-day trips to destinations such as London, Legoland, Warwick Castle, Cadburys World and half day trips to Oxford

• Afternoon Activities:

• Adventure Activities: Climbing wall, adventure playground, and outdoor exploration, Archery, Kayaking

• Sports: Tennis, swimming, and team games.

• Creative Workshops: Arts, crafts, and performing arts in the theatre.

Schedule for Day Students

Day students start on Monday and finish on a Saturday each week. It is a 6 day week for Day students

Sample Daily Schedule

• 08:00 - 09:00 – Arrival & Welcome

• 09:00 - 12:00 – Morning Lessons (2x 1.5-hour sessions)

• 12:00 - 13:00 – Lunch in the dining hall

• 13:00 - 15:00 – Afternoon Activities (Sports, Arts, Team Games)

• 15:00 - 17:00 – Excursions or Adventure Sessions

• 17:00 - 18:00 – Departure

Day students will take part in 2 full day excursions over a two-week period.
