The Nike Tennis Camp at Radley College is a residential high-performance summer programme for advanced players aged 10–17. With up to 24 hours of tennis coaching and match play each week, it offers a focused training environment on a choice of surfaces, alongside excursions, evening activities and an international community of players.
Players are assessed on arrival and grouped by age and ability, and each player receives an individual coaching review, a certificate and a report to take home.
Players train twice a day in small groups with high-performance coaches, at a maximum coach-to-player ratio of 1:6, with individual feedback in every session. Each week includes competitive matches on tournament day and an awards ceremony.
The programme is led by Tennis Director Gill Lemore, a former ATP Tour player who has led the UK camps for more than 13 years, and holds USPTA Qualified Professional, PTR France Instructor and Level 4 LTA Performance Coach qualifications.
Players at Radley can add private one-to-one lessons with a Nike Tennis coach through Tennis Pro Sessions, for an additional fee.
Every player receives the same amount of tennis coaching; the difference lies in how the afternoons are spent:
Total Tennis: up to 8 hours a week of tennis workshops on topics such as nutrition, teamwork, goal-setting, communication and match analysis, giving an insight into the lifestyle and mindset of a professional.
Tennis + English: up to 13 hours a week of English lessons taught by qualified teachers using the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) method, with tennis-themed projects and discussions. Ideal for international players who want to build their confidence in English.
Each day follows a simple, active rhythm: breakfast and a morning meeting, followed by the first tennis session; lunch, then workshops or English lessons in the afternoon; and dinner followed by a second tennis session before downtime and the evening programme.
Radley College is a prestigious independent school set in parkland just outside Oxford, about 61 miles (98 km) from central London. London Heathrow is 52 miles (84 km) away and London Gatwick 87 miles (140 km). Tennis is played on Poraflex acrylic courts and grass, with off-site indoor courts available.
This is a fully residential camp. Players live on site at Radley College in mostly single bedrooms, and all meals are provided: three meals a day plus an evening snack. Outside training, players can unwind and make friends in the players' lounge.
Excursions are built into every camp:
London (every other week): a city tour taking in Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, a ride on the Thames and time for shopping.
Oxford (every other week): a tour of the historic university city.
Theme park (two-week camps only): a full day of rides and fairground games at a major UK theme park.
Evenings bring a varied activities programme, and players can relax and socialise in the players' lounge. Weekly awards ceremonies celebrate effort and achievement in front of peers and staff.
All 2027 sessions take place at Radley College, with one-week and two-week options throughout the summer. Each one-week camp is 6 nights and each two-week camp is 13 nights; 2027 sessions run Monday to Sunday.

Up to 24 hours a week of tennis coaching and games; up to 8 hours a week of workshops (Total Tennis) or up to 13 hours a week of English lessons (Tennis + English); on-site accommodation; three meals a day plus an evening snack; excursions; the evening activities programme; an exclusive Nike gift pack; an individual coaching review, certificate and take-home report; 24/7 welfare staff; on-site medical support; and travel insurance.
Not included: private one-to-one lessons (optional, extra fee), flights and airport transfers. An airport transfer service from London Heathrow or Gatwick, with staff meeting players on arrival day and accompanying them back on departure day, can be added after booking at an extra cost.
Welfare staff are on site 24 hours a day, with a staff-to-player ratio of 1:6 and on-site medical support throughout the camp. Safeguarding and child-welfare procedures are a central part of the programme, and travel insurance is included in the fee. Players are assessed on arrival and placed in groups matched to their age and ability, so everyone trains at the right level. Camps welcome young people from more than 100 nationalities, with around 30% native English speakers, creating a genuinely international but well-supervised environment.
Radley is the high-performance venue, best suited to advanced players aged 10–17 who compete regularly and want intensive coaching on grass and acrylic courts. Players looking to raise their level ahead of a tournament season will benefit most. Players of all abilities, including those newer to the game, may prefer the camp at Bradfield College.
