Program Specifics

• Flights:

  All airfare is arranged for the group. Participants will start with a chaperoned flight from New York or Los Angeles to Bangkok. Internal flights within Thailand and Vietnam incur an additional fee of $1,250 USD.

• Vietnam Entry Regulations:

  A Vietnamese visa is required, which we will assist in obtaining for American and Canadian citizens.

• Meals & New Cuisines:

  Engage with the local culinary scene, trying authentic dishes while also having North American options available. We accommodate special dietary needs and provide clean drinking water.

• Vaccinations:

  Consult with your physician regarding vaccinations recommended for travel to Thailand and Vietnam.

• Laundry:

  A local laundry service is available weekly, so participants only need to pack one week’s worth of clothing.

• What’s Included:

  Tuition covers lodging, daily meals, listed activities, airport transfers, gratuities, and taxes. Optional travel insurance is recommended but not included.

Day 1:

Flight to Bangkok, Thailand

• Begin your adventure with an overnight flight to Bangkok, where you'll meet your group and engage in fun icebreaker activities.

Days 2-3:

Bangkok, Thailand

• Explore the city by skytrain, canal boat, tuk-tuk, and longtail boat. Enjoy a food walking tour and visit iconic landmarks like the Grand Palace and Wat Pho.

Days 4-8:

Chiang Mai, Thailand

• Experience zip-lining through the forest, caring for elephants, and exploring ancient temples, including Doi Suthep.

Days 9-12:

Krabi, Thailand

• Snorkel or SCUBA dive at Chicken Island, rock climb in Railay Bay, and relax on the beach.

Days 13-14:

Bangkok, Thailand

• Return to Bangkok for final explorations and a farewell dinner for those departing.

Days 15-16:

Hanoi, Vietnam

• Discover the rich history of Hanoi, including a visit to the Hanoi Hilton, with a day trip to Ninh Binh.

Days 17-18:

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

• Cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, kayaking and swimming in stunning surroundings.

Days 19-21:

Hoi An, Vietnam

• Learn to cook Vietnamese dishes and make silk lanterns, while enjoying the beauty of An Bang Beach.

Days 22-24:

Nha Trang, Vietnam

• Snorkel in beautiful waters and relax at hot springs and local markets.

Days 25-26:

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

• Explore the vibrant city, including the Cu Chi Tunnels and local markets, before preparing for your departure.

Day 27:

Return Flight Home From Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Program Specifics

Flight To Bangkok, Thailand

We begin this program with a chaperoned group flight from New York or Los Angeles to Bangkok. Our program leaders greet you at the airport and are with you from check-in onward. Everyone has the opportunity to begin bonding before we even land. For our many travelers from outside the New York area, we require all participants to join our group flight to Thailand and are happy to assist you with arranging connecting flights at suitable times into New York. For participants outside North America, please reach out to us to discuss your flight options.

Internal Flights

Separate from the airfare to and from this program, there is an additional $1250 USD fee for internal flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai to Krabi, Krabi to Bangkok, Bangkok to Hanoi, Hai Phong to Hoi An and Hoi An to Nha Trang.

Return Flight Home From Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

For your return from Ho Chi Minh City, we offer a chaperoned flight to New York. You may choose to join that flight and arrange transfers (if required) at suitable times after the group has cleared customs and immigration in the USA; or you may fly from Ho Chi Minh City to your home city and our leaders help you to check-in and remain in the airport until flights in designated times have departed.
