Four half-day excursion per week are included, destinations may include Fort Lauderdale, Canals Cruise & Las Olas walk, Miami South Beach, Wynwood and Design district Miami, Fort Lauderdale beach place, Miami Lincoln Road or National Park of the Everglades Gator Park. 2 evening excursions are included including Miami at night Bayside and a Marlins Baseball game. The onsite activities programme is both fun and varied and has something that will interest both creative and sporty students alike. Each day will end with an energetic evening activity which encourages students to socialise with their new international friends. Evening activities are varied and fun and may include discos, sports and movie nights.

• Students are housed in modern, air-conditioned university residences on campus.

SH can arrange transfers to/from the centre to/from the airports and locations.Clients must advise the Reservations Team of their specific arrival and departure flight details at least 1 month before arrival, including arrival airport, flight arrival time, flight number, airline and point of origin. They must advise us as soon as possible if any of this information changes. If clients give us this information less than 1 month before arrival, we may not be able to arrange the transfer, although we will do our best to do so.

We include an assisted check-in on departure service for all individual students enrolled on our junior summer courses. Students will be taken to the airport by one of the school’s fully licensed and trusted courier companies. Our courier will accompany the student to the airline’s check-in desk, ensuring that the student will be checked in for their flight.

Our academic programme provides the perfect learning adventure through dynamic, interactive, informative and culturally integrated lessons. Our syllabus is specially designed to target communicative competencies by building confidence and motivation and maximising the benefits of the international environment. Our aim is simple: to encourage students to use the language rather than just learn about it. Our teachers are specially trained to encourage students to use language in realistic, cultural and fun situations. Linking our activities and excursions to our classroom learning enables students to put what they have learnt straight into practice and communicate meaningfully with others from a range of nationalities. Classroom language and everyday English will help students really make the most out of their stay.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• **TUITION: **Students will take part in 15 hours of English language lessons per week. Lessons are topic based and designed to be fun, energetic and informative. They enable students to use their English in real world situations and increase their confidence.
• **ACTIVITIES: **We offer a variety of onsite activities including sports, arts and crafts and team games. Our activities provide opportunities for students to use the English they have learnt and make international friends.
• **EXCURSIONS: **Full and half day excursions allow students to really get to know the USA. We use destinations such as Miami and the surrounding area as a classroom where students will find historic and cultural information through guided walking tours and visits to museums and other places of interest.
• CERTIFICATE: Each student will have their English level tested upon arrival and will be placed in a class accordingly. Students will receive a portfolio to store their work in as well as a certificate to take home with them as a record of their course with us.
