Accommodations

  • On-campus residential accommodation in comfortable twin rooms with modern shared bathrooms and common areas on each floor.

  • Girls and boys are in separate accommodation areas or on different floors

  • Student:bathroom ratio between 6:1 & 8:1

  • Students are issued bedroom keys on their arrival. A charge will be made for any lost keys, up to $200.

  • Students advised to use suitcase locks for valuables; we are not responsible for items in bedrooms.

  • School bank available for safe money storage.

  • Nighttime supervision by staff in each house, assistance with problems, and support for homesickness.

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided every day (Lunch and dinner are usually hot)

  • On excursion days students are given a packed lunch.

  • Some dinners will be off-site, depending on the program.

  • Vegetarian always available. Others available on request.

  • Mandatory room vacation on departure day between 9.00 – 10.00am as per management instructions.

Transportation

  • Students will be greeted at the airport by a guide or representative.

  • Guide may arrive up to 45 minutes after the flight's arrival time.

  • If the guide is not found, students should show their Transfer Confirmation Letter at the Airport Information Desk.

  • In case of not finding the guide, remain calm and inside the terminal; our experienced team will assist.

  • For flight delays or travel emergencies, call +1 310 919 5955 (TBC).

  • Students advised to carry: Passport (Visa if needed), Letter of Consent to Travel, Booking confirmation letter, Transfer confirmation letter.

  • If traveling with a parent/guardian, inform us of arrival/departure times in advance.

  • A document will be provided for completion before arrival; unaccompanied travel to/from campus is not allowed.

  • Arrival drop-off time at the center is between 3pm – 6pm.

  • Departure pick-up time from the center is between 9am – 11am.

Lesson Plan

  • Child assessed upon arrival for placement in an appropriate class according to age and English level.
  • Six learning levels available, from Beginner to Advanced.
  • 15 hours of English classes each week, learning thoughfun teaching methods including projects, games, and group work to boost confidence, collaboration, and communication.
  • Between 9.00 - 12.30 or 14.00 - 17.30
  • Teaching days: Thursday, Saturday & Monday OR Thursday, Friday & Sunday (two possible shifts)
  • A full program of organised activities, with a choice of 2 – 3 activities per session.
  • Minimum of two full-day excursions per week, including one entrance fee.

The syllabus includes:

  • Language input and language practice
  • UK or US culture lessons
  • Excursion preparation/ follow-up lessons
  • Online safety classes
  • Project lessons
  • There is also a weekly review of materials studied.
