Course Description: Art, Craft and Design Camp for Teenagers in Wiltshire, UK

📍 Location & Setting

This creative residential programme takes place on the beautiful campus of Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire, set within approximately 150 acres of English countryside. The setting offers a safe, peaceful, and inspiring environment where teenagers can focus on creativity while enjoying a full boarding-school experience.

The campus is exceptionally well equipped, featuring a dedicated art block, heated indoor swimming pool, dance studio, adventure areas, extensive outdoor sports fields, and comfortable shared spaces for relaxation and socialising. On-site boarding accommodation and modern dining facilities ensure students are well cared for throughout their stay.

This programme is open to UK and international students aged 13–17.

No minimum English level is required, making it suitable for:

  • Native English speakers

  • Fluent international students

  • Learners of English as a foreign language

🖌️ Lesson Plan (Creative Focus)

Each morning is dedicated exclusively to art, craft, and design, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in creative work. The programme is designed for young people who enjoy creating, experimenting, and developing artistic skills in a supportive, like-minded environment.

Students explore a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Fine art

  • Graphic design

  • Textiles

  • Photography

Projects vary daily, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and personal expression while learning new techniques.

Mornings:

🏡 Residential Accommodation

Students stay in one of five welcoming boarding houses on campus, grouped by age and gender. Rooms range from single to six-bed dormitories, with shared bathrooms on each corridor and some en-suite rooms available.

Room allocation is managed on arrival, with priority given to placing students alongside others of a similar age. Each boarding house is supervised by trained staff who provide 24/7 pastoral care, ensuring a safe, supportive, and reassuring environment for parents and students alike.
