A big part of your summer program’s success depends on how well you eat. We are proud of the fact that year after year we are complimented for our quality, quantity and choice of food! Enjoy a delicious breakfast with a healthy variety of hot and cold choices. For lunch, you enjoy the choice of eating in smaller groups and choosing from local cafés and small restaurants. For dinner, either the whole group goes to the same restaurant or we divide into smaller groups to sample quainter places with a variety of cuisines. Food options are varied and plentiful.We have satisfied the choosiest of eaters and gladly accommodate most special dietary requests including vegetarian, anaphylactic food allergies, lactose intolerance, celiac disease, and kosher style. We welcome discussing your individual requirements with you and have extensive experience in this area.

In the spring, you will receive program-specific information including suggested spending money for your program. Your spending money is for personal items like laundry, snacks and souvenirs as well as for lunches depending on the program. The recommended amount varies depending upon the program type, length and destination.

We will greet you at the airport after you come through immigration and customs. We transfer you to the accommodations with no added fee as long as you arrive in our designated times. Students will be introduced to the complex world of finance, providing an invaluable foundation in business and capital markets. NYIF courses cover everything from investment banking, asset pricing, insurance and market structure to financial modeling, treasury operations, and accounting. The New York Institute of Finance has a faculty of industry leaders and offers a range of program delivery options, including self-study, online courses, and in-person classes. Started by the New York Stock Exchange in 1922, NYIF trains 50,000 professionals online and in class, in over 125 countries each year, whose alumni network includes the legendary investor, Warren Buffett. Its US customers include the SEC, the Treasury, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and most leading worldwide banks. NYIF Faculty Learn from senior Wall Street financial experts and business leaders. NYIF Academic Director - Jack Farmer Jack specializes in training and consulting solutions for portfolio risk management, FX and interest rate derivatives and trading, equity index and volatility trading, equity derivatives and structured equity products, financial statement analysis and hedge accounting. Jack also acts as an outside adviser for portfolio managers at significant global investment funds. These funds include emerging markets equity funds and global macro hedge funds. Prior to his current consulting work, Jack worked as a senior consultant in Accenture's Financial Services Industry group. He then joined a proprietary trading group at Bank of America as a trader, eventually becoming the head trader and chief strategist for its FX and Eurodollar Statistical Arbitrage group. After completing his doctoral studies in finance, he spent two years teaching quantitative finance at the University of Texas at Austin. With the objective of putting his dissertation research to practical use, he moved to New York in 1997 and began working as a quantitative trading and training consultant with proprietary trading groups in New York, London, and Chicago.
