Weekly course hours – 15
Age Range - 11-15 yrs
General English includes 15 hours per week of English courses tailored to the needs of young learners aged 11 to 15. The course focuses on increasing vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills in English, as well as project work that allows students to practice their English in real-life scenarios. All of the sessions are taught utilizing a communicative approach that emphasizes speaking and communicating while also developing the student's confidence in using English.
Students in the Junior General English course will always put what they've learnt in class into practice. Teachers will engage students in interesting and difficult speaking activities that will allow them to practice the language in real-life circumstances. Language activation through practice is an essential part of the language acquisition process.
All of the English teachers use a communicative approach to teaching. This means that all activities, whether they focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or speaking, require students to communicate in English with one another at all times. The professors employ a range of current teaching methods to ensure that students receive an appropriate balance of individual, pair, and group work, allowing them to collaborate with all of their classmates during class.
Every student will participate in a series of exciting tasks and projects each week. Making short films, photography exhibitions, theatrical and drama performances, team challenges, and class competitions are examples of former course projects.
