Financial Foundations Program

Introduction to Investing: Students will delve into the basics of investing and saving, exploring stocks, bonds, and the nuances of credit and investment.
Financial Markets: Gain insights into the differences between the NYSE and NASDAQ, and learn to navigate interest rates with ease.
Afternoons:
Corporate Finance: Discover how corporations manage their capital through financial analysis, planning procedures, and commodities trading.
Risk Management: Engage in a practical exercise by investing imaginary money to assess risk tolerance in a stress-free environment.

Upon completion, students will receive:
A Course Completion Certificate from the Summer Institute at the University of Michigan.
A Letter of Recognition acknowledging academic achievement.

Students whose primary residence is outside the United States will be charged an International Registration Fee when attending a U.S.-based program.
This fee covers:
