Risk Assessment: Evaluate risk tolerance and investment choices through practical exercises with imaginary money.
To enroll in this transformative program, students must have a keen interest in finance and complete the Summer Institute application process.

Upon completion, students will receive:
A Course Completion Certificate from the Summer Institute Middle School Cornell program.

If your home country is not one of the 40 countries in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program, you will need a B-2 Visitor Visa to attend the program.
The B-2 visa is for tourism and short-term study (under 16–18 hours of classes per week).
After enrollment, you will receive a Letter of Introduction to help support your visa application.

Students attending college-credit courses at the University of Pennsylvania or The Wharton School are required to obtain an F-1 student visa.
The university will issue an I-20 form to support this visa process.
All students — domestic and international — attending programs outside the United States (such as Cambridge or Madrid) are required to pay a $379 International Program Fee.
Exceptions:
