Refine your mathematical abilities and numerical curiosity through an introduction to several different facets of modern mathematics. You will encounter important and interesting ideas in arithmetic, geometry, graph theory, logic, computer science and game theory. You will improve your abilities through solving riddles and critical thinking puzzles, drawing tessellations and fractals, playing strategic mathematical games and even building a primitive computer. Throughout the course, you will naturally improve your visual thinking, curiosity and confidence in the discipline as you see how mathematics is evident in art, music and nature. Take your skills to next level as you interact with leading faculty and world-class tutors, all while you live and learn at the University of Oxford campus.
Location
The University of Oxford is made up of over 30 colleges, each with its own unique character and charm. From colleges located in the historic city centre, with its cobbled streets and ancient buildings, to the modern and spacious Science Area, the university offers a diverse range of learning environments.

We help you uncover Oxford’s secrets, from the best coffee shops to the dreamiest riverside parks, from Oxford’s very own castle to unmissable shops, galleries and museums. You and your new friends will enjoy an amazing extracurricular timetable including dazzling graduation balls, excursions to explore Britain’s diverse history, and so much more.
Accommodations
What’s life like at the oldest university in the English-speaking world? Your summer school is hosted in historic residential colleges where you will experience authentic undergraduate life.
Sleep in bedrooms set in centuries-old quadrangles, socialize in student common rooms, and relax in breathtaking gardens.
Most of our accommodation sites offer a mix of single and twin bedrooms. Some campuses have en-suite bedrooms while others have bathroom facilities shared between a small group of same-sex students.
Meals
Breakfast and dinner are included in the course fees, but lunch is included only for students under 16.
If you have any dietary requirements you must let us know at least 60 days in advance of your course start date so that we can cater to your requirements.
All meals offer a vegetarian option (which must be booked in advance). We are not always able to provide special Kosher or Halal food as a dining option; students with these dietary requirements will sometimes be offered the vegetarian option, so you must let us know in advance what foods you cannot eat.
All medical dietary requirements such as lactose intolerance and any food allergies must be reported to us at least 60 days in advance of your course start date so that we can ensure you receive the correct meals.
Pocket Money
You should bring enough money with you to cover the cost of any snacks, drinks or souvenirs you may wish to purchase. Prices vary depending on where you shop, so it's a good idea to plan your budget in advance. If you plan on doing a lot of shopping, you may need to budget slightly more.

Transportation
We offer a reassuring transfer service in the UK and USA.
Arrival Support:
Staff present at London Heathrow (LHR) on specific dates and times for student pickup.
Flights must land between 06:00 and 14:00 BST for transfer eligibility.
Multiple transport options: private taxi, shared taxi, minibus, or coach.
Transport type determined by factors like arrival times and student numbers.
Departure Support:
Staff available at LHR on set dates for departure assistance.
Flights should depart between 08:00 and 18:00 BST.
Early morning flights include wake-up calls and packed breakfast.
**Transfer Prices: **GBP 200 one-way for both arrival and departure transfers, with comprehensive services included.
Notes for parents and students:
Arrival day for all programs: Sunday (Check specific program dates for correct Sunday)
Arrival time: Between 15:00 and 17:00 (Arrival before 17:00 for welcome reception is recommended)
Lesson Plan
Your Summer School experience will take place in historic residential colleges where you will get a taste of what it's like to be a student at Oxford. Sleep in historic quadrangles, mingle in bustling student common areas, and unwind in beautiful campus gardens. Take a seat in the lofty hallways where students have dined for over 800 years. Learn in lecture halls and labs where revolutionary discoveries were created, and in classrooms where 55 Nobel Laureates gained fundamental academic and life skills essential for future success. An introduction to numerous distinct aspects of current mathematics can help you improve your mathematical ability and ignite your interest in numbers. In arithmetic, geometry, graph theory, logic, computer science, and game theory, you will come across significant and fascinating concepts.
The following are some of the things you will learn in the Oxford Summer Mathematics Course:
We know you'll want to tell your family, friends, and instructors about your fantastic summer of exploration when you go home. We also recognize that you'll want to learn from your ORA teacher not just what you did exceptionally well on your course, but also where you may improve and learn more in the future. You'll get a graduation certificate after successfully completing your course, which will be presented to you and your parents at a special ceremony on the last Friday of summer school. We'll also provide you a full report card that details all you've accomplished throughout your time with us, as well as some recommendations for future success.
