Bienvenidos a España! 🇪🇸 This immersive Spanish language adventure lets teens practice real-world Spanish every single day — chatting with locals, ordering food, exploring historic cities, and discovering the beauty of Mediterranean life. Instead of learning in a classroom, Spain itself becomes your classroom.

From the artistic energy of Barcelona to the beaches of Alicante, the palaces of Granada, the flamenco rhythms of Seville, and the heartbeat of Madrid — this program helps students strengthen fluency while experiencing Spain’s vibrant culture, food, and history. Guided by bilingual leaders, students grow their confidence, vocabulary, and cultural understanding while having an incredible summer with new friends.

At least 1 year of Spanish experience is required.

🗺️ Itinerary

Day 1 — Flight to Barcelona, Spain ✈️

Fly overnight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, orientation begins with icebreakers and fun “get to know you” activities.

Days 2–6 — Barcelona 🇪�*

Begin your Spanish immersion in one of Europe’s most exciting cities.

Highlights include:

• Plaza Catalunya, Plaza de España & Gran Via

• Gaudí masterpieces including Park Güell mosaics

• The famous Sagrada Familia

• Las Ramblas & the harborfront

• Barceloneta Beach 🌊

• Tapas tasting in the Gothic Quarter

• A full Spanish cooking school experience — making dishes while naming all ingredients in Spanish

Days 7–8 — Alicante, Costa Dorada ☀️

Relax on the Mediterranean coast.

• Sail to Tabarca Island

• Snorkel in the marine reserve while identifying sea life in Spanish

• Enjoy sunny beaches along the Costa Blanca

Days 9–10 — Granada 🏔️

A city filled with Moorish history.

• Guided visit of The Alhambra

• Visit the Cathedral & Royal Chapel (resting place of Queen Isabella & King Ferdinand)

• Explore the Albaicín neighborhood

• Practice Spanish negotiating with local merchants

• Enjoy a café con leche in Plaza Nueva ☕

This program is conducted entirely in Spanish.

Participants sign a Language Commitment Contract and agree to speak Spanish with staff, peers, and locals throughout the experience.

Breakfasts in Europe are served buffet-style at hotels with a variety of hot and cold options.

For dinners, the whole group may dine together, or students can choose smaller groups to explore local restaurants and cuisines.

Lunches are eaten in small groups at local cafés, bistros, and other restaurants.
