International Summer Camp in Coastal Barcelona

This international summer program offers an enriching and well-balanced experience for students aged 11 to 16. Located in Montgat, a safe and scenic town just 20 minutes from central Barcelona and 5 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea, the camp brings together young people from around the world to learn, grow, and connect.

Location

The camp takes place on a modern school campus in Montgat, featuring outdoor gardens, a trampoline, a cinema room, BBQ areas, and generous social spaces—all within a secure, 24-hour monitored environment.

Program Structure

The camp is organized in two-week sessions, with flexible enrollment options:

Students may join as:

• Boarding participants, living on-site and fully engaged in daily and weekend activities

• Day participants, attending Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm

Weekly Schedule Overview

Mornings (10:00 am – 1:00 pm):

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Students choose from sports such as padel, football, or water sports

• Tuesday, Thursday: Half-day cultural excursions to notable sites in Barcelona, including Parc Güell, the Sagrada Familia, El Born, or CosmoCaixa Museum

Afternoons (3:30 pm – 6:30 pm):

• Language lessons in English or Spanish, held Monday through Friday

• A break from 5:00 to 5:30 pm

• Classes are level-based, determined by a placement test, and held in small groups (5–15 students) led by experienced instructors

Evenings (Boarding participants only):

• Social activities such as games, workshops, and evening entertainment

Weekends (Boarding participants only):

• Saturday: Full-day trips to locations such as Tibidabo Theme Park or Costa Brava and Girona

• Sunday: On-campus games in the morning and beach outings in the afternoon

Accommodation

Boarding students stay in private en-suite rooms equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, safe, storage, and daily housekeeping. Bedding and towels are provided and refreshed weekly. A staff-to-student ratio of 1:10 ensures close supervision.

Meals

Nutritious meals are served in the school dining area. Special dietary needs and allergies are carefully accommodated by the kitchen staff.

Excursions

All excursions are included and form a core part of the program:

• Two half-day cultural excursions each week

• One full-day Saturday trip per session

• Weekly beach and local visits on Sundays (boarding students only)

Transportation

Airport transfers from and to Barcelona-El Prat Airport are included on arrival and departure days (Saturdays and Sundays). UM (Unaccompanied Minor) service is available for an additional fee.

Certificates and Reports

Upon completion, each student receives:

• A Certificate of Attendance

• A Language Certificate

• A personalized Language Report from their instructor
