A two-week pre-medical experience for students aged 14 to 17 🩺�*
Get Ready for Medicine is a two-week summer programme in the City of London designed for students who are serious about exploring a future in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences or Healthcare. You will learn through university-style teaching, clinical activities, lab work, ethical discussions and practical skill sessions, all delivered in one of the world’s most influential medical and scientific cities.
This is early medical insight in a safe, fully supervised, high-support environment.

The programme blends medical science, hands-on practice, ethics and early application preparation. Students experience both the scientific and human sides of healthcare.
Full-day clinical workshop with a practising doctor
Clinical scenarios and simulations
Biology and Chemistry practicals, including heart and lung dissections
Infection and immunity: microbiology, viruses, immunology
Neuroscience and the brain
How technology and innovation are changing modern medicine
Emergency response training, including an Emergency First Aid qualification
University visit and trips to medical or science-related locations
Ethical decision-making: consent, confidentiality, end-of-life thinking, resource allocation
Personal Statement guidance and interview-style communication
UCAT-style problem solving
The programme ends with a formal presentation where students defend ideas in front of others, mirroring future medical selection processes.

Fees:
£5,000 for 2 weeks (standard room)
£5,200 for 2 weeks (ensuite room)
£3,000 for day students (Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00, lunch included)
Boarding fees include tuition, accommodation, meals, insurance, Heathrow transfers during set hours and activities.
