A typical day at camp runs from 8:00am to 5:30pm, combining English lessons with a variety of creative, cultural, and physical activities designed to keep children engaged throughout the day.
Children can arrive anytime after 8:00am. This flexible arrival period allows families to drop off their children before the structured programme begins. Camp staff welcome children and help them settle in before the day starts.
The day begins with a short group welcome where children meet their activity leaders, review the schedule for the day, and take part in energising warm-up activities.
Children begin the day with creative or team-based activities depending on their age group. Examples include arts and crafts, sports games, creative challenges, or project-based activities designed to encourage communication and collaboration.
Children take a short break to relax, have a snack, and socialise with their friends before the next session begins.
The second session of the morning continues with engaging activities such as sports, teamwork games, or creative projects. These sessions encourage active participation and provide opportunities to practise English naturally.
Children take part in another structured activity such as drama, sports games, creative workshops, or collaborative challenges designed to build confidence and teamwork.
Children enjoy a break for lunch and social time with their peers. At many locations, a nutritious two-course hot lunch is prepared by the venue’s catering team.
The afternoon programme begins with another engaging activity session, which may include sports, creative workshops, group challenges, or language-based activities.
Children continue with another activity designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, and active learning.
A short afternoon break gives children time to rest, have a snack, and recharge before the final activity session of the day.
The final structured session of the day may include sports games, outdoor activities, creative projects, or collaborative challenges.
Children gather with their group leaders to reflect on the day, share highlights, and prepare for collection.
Parents can collect their children anytime before 5:30pm. Staff ensure each child is safely signed out before leaving.
***
Children are normally placed in groups with others of similar age, ensuring activities are engaging and appropriate for their stage of development.
At certain times during the day, children may participate in mixed-age activities such as team games or collaborative projects. These shared experiences help develop social skills and encourage friendships across age groups.
***
At many camp locations, children receive a nutritious two-course hot lunch prepared daily by the host venue’s catering team.
Where lunch is provided, meals are freshly prepared and designed to give children the energy they need for a full day of learning and activity.
At venues where children bring their own lunch, a strict no-nuts policy is enforced to ensure the safety of all participants.
***
Children can be dropped off anytime after 8:00am and collected anytime before 5:30pm.
To ensure children enjoy the full programme of activities, attendance is recommended between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
