The academic component of the programme is designed to introduce students to college-style learning in an engaging and supportive environment.
Courses are taught in small, seminar-style classes, encouraging discussion, collaboration, and active participation. Instruction is delivered by experienced educators, university instructors, and professionals from the Madison community.
Classes run Monday through Friday, giving students the opportunity to explore academic subjects while still enjoying the social and cultural aspects of the programme.
Students are evaluated on a satisfactory / unsatisfactory basis, allowing them to focus on learning, creativity, and intellectual growth without the pressure of traditional grading. At the end of the programme, students receive a Certificate of Achievement recognising their successful participation.

Students typically arrive at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
At designated arrival times:
Staff meet students at baggage claim
Students are escorted to organised transportation
Transfers take students to Madison, approximately two hours away
Students may also fly directly to Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) in Madison, where staff will meet them and escort them to campus.
Families may also choose to drive students directly to campus.
Please note that transportation costs and airport transfers are not included in tuition.
