This fully immersive 3-week residential summer programme is designed for ambitious students aged 13–18 who want to develop real entrepreneurial skills and launch their own business ideas. Set in Scotland's most historic university town, the programme combines intensive business instruction with practical experience, cultural exploration, and a diverse international community.
Combining faculty-led academic learning with hands-on project work, a Dragons' Den-style pitch competition, and exploration of Scotland's vibrant culture, the programme culminates in students pitching their own business ideas to an expert panel. Students return home with a completed business proposal, practical business acumen, confidence in their entrepreneurial abilities, and lasting friendships with peers from around the world.
Students live and study at St Salvator's Halls of Residence, University of St Andrews, within a secure and self-contained residential environment in Scotland's most historic university town.

This programme is designed for students with a minimum English level of B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or above, according to the CEFR framework.
Students at this level are expected to:
Engage with business concepts and academic content delivered in English

Communicate business ideas clearly in spoken and written form
Present and pitch ideas confidently to diverse audiences
Students complete a British Council English Language Test before arrival to ensure appropriate class placement and support throughout the programme.
The Business & Entrepreneurship Summer School features a hands-on, professionally-delivered curriculum combining business theory with practical entrepreneurial experience.

Students engage in three hours of academic instruction each weekday morning through interactive workshops, real-world case studies, and collaborative group projects. Teaching is delivered by highly qualified professionals with genuine business and entrepreneurship experience.

Additional Golf Students who have a low handicap and wish to play some of St Andrews Links courses may opt to miss cultural trips in order to increase the time spent on the course. This will be at an additional cost to the student but will allow those who are good golfers to maximise their golfing experience in the home of golf and use the coaching offered to take full advantage of some of the worlds best championship courses.
Advanced players may access championship-level courses.

Pitch – Prepare and deliver a professional Dragons' Den-style presentation

The programme culminates in a Dragons' Den (Shark Tank-style) competition where student teams pitch their business ideas to a panel of business professionals, educators, and mentors.
