Horse Riding + STEM at Bromsgrove School | Ages 11–18

Set within one of the UK’s most prestigious boarding schools, this exciting summer programme at Bromsgrove School combines English learning, professional horse riding, and hands-on STEM exploration—creating a unique balance of academic progress, physical activity, and creative thinking.

Located in the Midlands near Birmingham, Bromsgrove offers a beautiful and secure campus with traditional architecture, modern classrooms, and first-class facilities including a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, performing arts centre, and newly refurbished boarding houses with private en-suite rooms.

🏇 Horse Riding Programme

Students of all riding levels—beginners to advanced—receive expert instruction in both riding techniques and stable management. In partnership with leading equestrian centres, this course focuses on building confidence, communication, and teamwork through riding. Over two weeks, students will:

• Take part in 4 professional riding sessions per week (3 hours each)

• Learn equine care, grooming, and tacking up

• Enjoy countryside hacks, flatwork, and introductory show jumping

• Earn a Rosette certificate upon successful completion

Safety is a top priority, with helmets provided and optional personal body protectors welcome.

⚙️ STEM at Camp

The STEM module transforms students into young innovators through story-driven missions that bring science, technology, engineering, and maths to life. Guided by expert STEM tutors, students design, build, and test creative solutions to survival challenges inspired by space exploration and sustainability. Activities include:

• Designing and constructing prototype habitats

• Calculating resources like oxygen, food, and water

• Presenting solutions in English to the “Mission Council”

• Competing in team-based challenges to earn survival points

Through this, students strengthen problem-solving, teamwork, and communication—skills that last far beyond the classroom.

Airport Shuttle Service This camp offers a shared transport service from Heathrow and Gatwick for all students travelling on our standard arrival and departure dates. These journeys cost £30 each way and must be within our social working hours (09:00 and 18:00 on arrival and 12:00 and 21:00 on departure
