Maybe you'll go to visit the Cailler chocolate factory, where the visit ends with a tasting session - yummy! Afterwards, you'll meet up with all the other classes by the lakeside for a tasty barbecue and some fun and games until the sun goes down. Saturday is departure / arrival day. If you’re not traveling, we organise an excursion in the Lausanne area. Maybe we’ll go to Chaplin’s World museum to discover Charlie Chaplin’s films; maybe we‘ll go to Lausanne Aquarium; maybe we’ll go further afield to visit Berne, the Swiss capital, or Geneva. One thing’s for sure – you won’t have time to get bored! On Sundays, a whole school excursion takes place . You’ll go out all day, either after brunch or with a picnic lunch. The programme depends on the weather but we usually go to: a lakeside park to do watersports; mountain tree climbing circuit; caves in Vallorbe; underground salt mines in Bex; Aquaparc water park; a walking adventure hunt, mountain karting in Morgins, a hike on the Moléson mountain. We know you'll have a great time!

Lesson Plan

Language Courses

Children take a test to assess their language skills and determine which class they will attend. The average class size is 12 so there is a lot of personal attention. Students focus on grammar, language structure, communication and fluency in the mornings.  For afternoon schedule , there are two options to choose, either the Multi-sports Program or the Multi-mix Program.

Multisports program

The Multi-sports program places children in similar age groups, separated into boys and girls. Children are offered the chance to try different sports every day. Some take place by the lake, on a banana boat or stand-up paddling. Other sports are played on campus like tennis, basketball, football, frisbee, zumba, running, etc.

Multi-mix program

The Multi-mix program offers 2 afternoons of sports per week and 2 afternoons of a special option. The options are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and there are limited spaces.  -Tennis Pro, with our professional coach, who will help you refine your skills to take your game to the next level (for advanced players only) -French Fun, which will help develop your fluency and writing skills through local visits and classroom discussions (required level B1) -Creative Arts, which will develop your creative skills using oils, photography, sculpture and crafts as well as learning about art and design. -Coding and Robotics, which will introduce you to the world of computer programming and logical problem solving and see you build your own take-home robot.

The typical schedule during the week is as follows: 8h00: Time to wake up! 8h30: Breakfast 9h00-10h30: Language class 1 10h45-12h15: Language class 2 12h30: Lunch 14h00 - 17h30: Afternoon programme (different options available) On Wednesday afternoons there is a whole class excursion followed by a barbecue. 18h45: Dinner 19h45: Activities on or off campus 21h00-22h00: Boarding houses At weekends the schedule is different because the students go on excursions and may be out of school for the complete day, having fun!
