Course Description: Academic English Summer Course at Glasgow University in UK

This boarding academic English programme is hosted on the University of Glasgow campus, one of the UK’s most historic and prestigious universities. Students live and study in a safe, well-connected area of Glasgow, with easy access to cultural landmarks, museums, and green spaces.

The programme follows a structured university-style daily schedule, combining academic study, cultural learning, and supervised social time.

  • 07:30 – 08:45: Breakfast at the residence

  • 09:00 – 10:30: Academic English lessons

  • 10:30 – 10:45: Morning break

  • 10:45 – 12:15: Project-based or skills-focused English sessions

  • 12:30 – 13:30: Lunch

  • Lunch is provided daily on campus or nearby

🕑 Afternoon

  • 14:00 – 15:30:

  • 15:45 – 17:15: Continued lessons or excursion activities

Students stay at Kelvinhaugh Gate, a modern university residence approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the main teaching buildings.

Accommodation features:

  • Ensuite single rooms (limited twin ensuite rooms available)

  • Up to 6 students per flat

  • Fully fitted kitchen (cookers enabled upon group leader request)

  • Fridge and freezer in each flat

Services included:

  • Bed linen and towels (changed weekly)

  • Room cleaning before arrival and once during the stay
