Spark your imagination this summer in Cambridge, one of the world’s most intellectually rich cities. This course offers aspiring writers aged 13–15 the opportunity to delve into classic literature while exploring their own creative voice. With guidance from expert tutors, students will read and analyse poetry, prose, and plays—and develop their storytelling skills in an inspiring, collaborative environment.

Small-group teaching (no more than 8 students per class) creates a tailored, engaging learning experience:

The course takes place at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge. Students will stay in authentic Cambridge college accommodation—twin or single rooms with shared bathrooms. Residential staff provide 24/7 supervision in a secure and supportive environment.

Full-board accommodation includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Meals are served either in the college dining hall or at quality local restaurants, offering varied and nutritious options to suit all dietary needs.

The programme includes optional airport transfer services for students arriving and departing from London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Meeting point in T2
Arrival Transfer: We offer a complimentary transfer for all students arriving at London Heathrow Airport between 8am and 3pm BST on the course start date (Sunday) within he specified times below. However, if you prefer to make your own way to the course location, please tell us on your Travel Form.
Departure Transfer: We offer a complimentary transfer from your course location to London Heathrow Airport for flights departing between 9am and 4pm BST on Saturday after your course finishes.
🛫 Unaccompanied minors will be met by airline staff and escorted to our arrivals team. Departures cost £145 for the unaccompanied minors service.
