As parents, we believe that activities should be mandatory unless there are exceptional circumstances, rather than letting the children decide. These are activities that should be done, not optional, and children shouldn’t be allowed to just go back to their rooms. - Regarding cell phone use, at other camps, they were allowed to use their phones for a short time to contact their families, and then the phones were collected. We would have preferred this approach, as our children kept calling and sending us TikTok videos when they should have been focused on activities or socializing with other children on campus.
