Cambridge University is located in the beautiful British countryside along the River Cam. Facilities at Cambridge include Glassworks Gym and Parkside Pools, and endless fields for playing frisbee with friends. The town of Cambridge is filled with wonderful cafes for afternoon tea, restaurants, and local boutiques. The summer Shakespeare festival is also popular with students. In London, students have access to first-class facilities within a modern city. Students can use the campus gym, swim at the London Aquatics Centre (built for the Olympics), and more.
The first half of the program in Cambridge offers students the chance for a deep dive into one of their academic or extracurricular passions. Students can choose from 25 different tracks, with topics such as architecture, global business, literature, psychology, acting, STEM, genetics, and many others. During the following two weeks, students will gain exposure to essential business principles in exciting Downtown London. Classes take place at Chapter Aldgate, next to the famous Hult International Business School. Students learn modern business practices and leadership skills from experts. Students also participate in an industry challenge developed in collaboration with Unilever, a multinational food brand.
Accommodation & Catering
During the Cambridge portion of the program, students live at Orchard Court Residence Hall at Murray Edwards College. Rooms are a mix of single, double, and triple rooms, with shared bathrooms. Each room includes a bed, desk, closet, and sink. All rooms also have wifi.
The residence hall is also equipped with common areas such as lounges, game rooms, and laundry facilities, and the Summer Discovery Office is also conveniently located in the residence hall. The residence hall is a short walk from the Dome Dining Hall and is just around the corner from the city center of Cambridge.
Two meals per day are fully included on weekdays, and one meal per day is included on weekends. Options available include a salad bar, pasta counter, dessert bar, and others. Special diets such as allergies or a preference for vegetarian foods can be fully accommodated.
London Hult Business School
Aldgate is located in the center of modern London. Accommodations are located at Chapter London, a modern residence hall in East London. Students live in double rooms with a private bathroom and one other student.
As in Cambridge, all rooms include a bed, desk, and closet. All rooms also have wifi. The residence hall is equipped with communal lounges, game rooms, and paid laundry facilities. The Summer Discovery Office is also conveniently located onsite.
The campus is a short walk from Hult International Business school and Spitalfields Market. The tube is just around the corner and offers a quick 10 minute ride to central London.
Two meals per day are fully included on weekdays, and one meal per day is included on weekends. Students can shop for groceries on their own and make breakfast in their suite. Students can eat out for dinner at any one of the numerous nearby restaurants, with offerings from fish and chips to international cuisine of nearly every type. Special diets from allergies to vegetarianism can be fully accommodated.
In Cambridge, students have the opportunity to explore the majestic English countryside, with its countless Abbeys and Castles. They can go punting with friends on the river, have afternoon tea in one of many local cafes, visit nearby Oxford, and visit one of the many museums and other attractions in town.
London is an incredible and diverse city with endless chances for exploration. Students have the opportunity to see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, visit Emirates Stadium, Big Ben, and the Parliament Building, shop at Harrods, ride the London Eye, and visit other world-famous attractions.
