Course Description: Classical Civilisation at Oxford University Campus

The Classical Civilisation program for students aged 16–17 offers an immersive two-week exploration into the ancient worlds of Greece and Rome. Set in the historic city of Oxford, students delve into the literature, history, philosophy, and art that have shaped Western culture.

Our teaching approach is centered around small class sizes, with no more than 8 students per group, ensuring personalised attention and an interactive learning environment. Students will benefit from:

Here’s a typical weekday at the Oxford Marketing and Media Summer School:

  • 08:00 – Breakfast & Morning Sign-in

  • 13:00 – Lunch

  • 14:00 – Goal Setting, Masterclass, or Directed Study

  • 22:00 – Curfew

Saturdays include cultural excursions and Sundays are for arrivals, relaxation, and orientation.

🎓 Graduation Ceremony & Recognition

Celebrate your achievements at the formal graduation ceremony, featuring a traditional dinner and the presentation of your Certificate of Achievement. Additionally, receive a personalized Letter of Recommendation from your tutor, highlighting your academic performance and contributions. 🚐 Airport Transfers

The programme includes optional airport transfer services for students arriving and departing from London Heathrow Airport (LHR).

  • Arrival Transfer: Complimentary for all students. Our team will greet students at the airport and accompany them safely to the Oxford campus.

  • Departure Transfer: For departures, students will be met by a dedicated UM supervisor, who will assist with check-in and ensure the student is safely handed over to airline staff for boarding.

🏛️ Location & Accommodation

Students will reside at Worcester College, a historic college in the University of Oxford. All accommodation is fully supervised with 24/7 pastoral care. Rooms are comfortable and shared with fellow students to promote community and collaboration.
